When you say you have a glass roof, I assume you mean the electronic panoramic roof?  If so, there is a thread on this that pinpoints the cause of the rattle that many of us have.  I just fixed mine a week or so ago.  Here's the thread.....

Thank you! Yes, electronic panoramic roof

I have a 2017 with panoramic glass roof. The sunshade rattles when it is in closed position, the rattle is coming from just behind the rear seats, I think from the roller mechanism. Anyone had this issue? Noise goes away if the shade is even slightly opened.

Did you ever find the issue? I have the same ticking/rattle, but it seems to go away when slight pressure is applied to the rolled up sunshade. The noise is less noticeable when the sunshade is at some point between open and closed, and completely gone when the sunshade is fully closed.

Did you try the solution stated in the thread linked above? This one

The dealer had no idea how to fix it. There’s a post in the thread from a while back, where wrapping a Velcro tie strap around a clip on the bar that keeps the shade in place. The bar runs from side to side between the roof and the where the glass panel ends. The clip is located above the passenger side rear seat on the left side (if you’re looking out the back).

It recommended a skinny short one, but I it would come loose over time and the rattle would come back. It’s really hard to get to, so I tried a wider and longer Velcro strap that would be a little stronger. Give it 2 tight wraps around the clip, then wrap it around the bar tightly (like a snake). This helps keep the Velcro in place over the rattling clip. It’s just hard to reach in there and wrap the Velcro, but it’s worth the pain in the a** to do it. Occasionally, I start to hear the rattle again a little bit, but simply pushing the Velcro back towards the clip eliminates the rattle again.

It's been the best fix for the issue and lasts a very long time. I honestly forget that it’s an issue until it slightly comes back. A great fix! I’ll try to find the original post with the first solution and bump it.
