Brenden
Hello, I was driving home from work when I decided to stop for a drink and when I got out, I noticed that the LED triangular lights are currently off, which is abnormal. They have always turned on with the car since I bought it and they were working earlier throughout the day. Is this a hint toward something or something else? Any help is appreciated. Thanks! Haz
Welcome to the Forum! The following information on the bumper-mounted Signature Lamps is from the 2018 Edge Workshop Manual, with emphasis added... Signature Lamps Each of the signature lamp assemblies consist of multiple Light Emitting Diodes (LEDs) that receive fused voltage when the ignition is in ON or START. When the signature lamps receive fused voltage from the BJB , and the parking lamps are OFF, the signature lamps illuminate at full intensity. When the parking lamps are activated and the BCM sends a second voltage to the signature lamps to indicate the parking lamps are activated, the signature lamps operate at a reduced intensity. Looking at the wiring diagram below, the CBB20 Yellow/Violet-Stripe wired voltage supplied by the Battery Junction Box (BJB) is protected by 10-amp fuse F20... Looking at the following top-view Battery Junction Box illustration, fuse F20's location is indicated by the red-boxed outline... If you have not accessed it before, the Battery Junction Box is located inside the engine compartment on the driver's side, adjacent to the battery... To remove the T-shaped Battery Junction Box cover, release the latching tabs indicated in the below photo by the green and red outlines opposite the red arrows. Rotate the cover upward toward the fender and disengage it from the outboard hinge-points. Below are additional photos of the Battery Junction Box... Once you're inside, pull fuse F20 to see if it's blown. If it's blown, replace it with a fresh 10-amp fuse and check your Edge's Signature Lamps' operation. If not working, report back, and we'll check further. Good luck! enigma-2
As fuse F20 is powered on only when start or run and he noticed this after the car had been switched off, perhaps he shoud also check fuse F67, which controls the body control module. (The BCM controls the signature lamps when the car is off).
