Horn and lock problems Posted March 11 Report Share Posted March 11 with my fob in my hand, 2013 ford edge sport, the doors lock on their own and the horn chirps. The horn also chirped randomly when away from the vehicle and lights flash. Vehicle horn sometimes chirps when outside the vehicle and no buttons are pressed. enigma-2 Posted March 19 Report Share Posted March 19 Sounds like the car is recieving a lock button signal. Most likely there's another stray signal nearby that's triggering it. garycrist Posted March 19 Report Share Posted March 19 Someone around you might have a fob clone machine. Keep those fobs protected with a Faraday Device or RF proof device.
