enigma-2
Ever fix this? There's a weak possibility that it can also be caused by a weak battery (low voltage), corroded connector (or bad wiring) or a bad wheel bearing. enigma-2
I was just reading on a different forum that the 2012 ABS module has been discontinued by Ford. This site sells used parts: https://share.google/Rh2QyDB3zZrPIfQ70

electblu
I have a similar issue on my 2011 Edge. Unfortunately I have one that was built in August of 2010 so it uses a BT4Z-2C219-A which has been discontinued. Does your 2012 use the newer DT4Z-2C219-B? I have been looking at the ones on eBay but they seem to use refurbished and remanufactured interchangeably. Not sure I want to go through the hassle of replacing it with a used part just to have it failing after a couple of months. I just hit 200,00 and was planning on keeping the car as I love it, but now I may have to rethink that. enigma-2
Yes, the modules are VIN-specific and require programming.
