1004ron Posted 4 hours ago Report Share Posted 4 hours ago SafeLite botched a chip repair and three windshield repairs following that. If you don't insist on OEM glass then the insurance prefers that's what's used by most installers, unless you insist on OEM. From your description it appears they've fouled the rain sensor and it will require a new one, and a possible a new windshield if it an issue with the cheap Chinese one they typically use.
