1004ron
Welcome. Its likely that the installer trashed the rain sensor - have you tried it with it not in Auto? Who installed it, AutoLite SafeLite? . Edited Wednesday at 08:29 PM by 1004ron
JohnT396
The windshield was done by safelite. It's my daughter's car and I don't know if it has auto mode or not. Will check. It's a 2014 platinum model. I'll follow up. Thank you...
1004ron
SafeLite botched a chip repair and three windshield replacements following that. The insurance instructs the installers to use the cheapest glass, unless you insist on OEM. From your description it appears they've fouled the rain sensor and it will require a new one, and a possible a new windshield if it an issue with the cheap Chinese one they typically use.
