Driveline ford edge issues

2008 Ford Edge 160k AWD. Carrier bearings have just been replaced.

I am getting shaking pretty much every time it's accelerating at ~40mph and 2500 rpms. The problem gets better after the bearings are replaced, but it has never gone away completely, so the problem must be greater than a bad carrier bearing. Where the driveshaft goes into where the drivehaft mounts to the PTU looks off-center (where the camera is pointed), and I am wondering if it's an engine or transmission mount. I think this becasue when I pry on the PTU, the whole engine/trans has a lot of movement. It doesn't seem related because it's the drive shaft that's bouncing, but I figured it could be causing a driveshaft angle to be off.
