  1. I could not agree more... I'm pretty sure Tire Rack sold you an overall wheel circumference nearly identical (+/- 5%) of your stock wheel/rim setup. That is the proper way to upsize or downsize rim/tire sizing. I don't see why the "stealership" sold you that crock of sh!t. Well anyways, for me I run my Stock 22" sport setup for the summer and slush away w/Edge OEM 17" 5spoke Rims & a Beefy Winter Tire set up. Same overall circumference so seasonal swap-out is very easy. To bad you sold your stock rims
  2. Looks nice... Just ordered them and I'm also gonna do what you did by lining the inners w some reflective tape. Thanks for the tips

  4. As I recall (not on front of my O&M manual), the lug torque specs are 100 ft/lbs. Confirm by checking your manual. I would not recommend using any sort of lubricant or anti-seize compounds on the studs or lugs as this would alter torque specs and binding affects of the nut-stud. If corrosion or dirt is an issue, just use a steel brush to clean them. As for the hub-rim surface contact, a steel brush cleaning and wipe down is good to do followed up with a lite coat of anti seize for future ease of removal. Hope this helps.
  5. Thanks for the DIY & tips... Just did this mod and it turned out great!
  6. Mike, A few answers: 1. No. The stock projectors have a flapper that moves away to reveal the upper spectrum of any bulb for the high beams. 2. Bulb size, 9006. 3. No. However, one needs to pay close attention to the bulb placment into the housing. Correct positioning of the bulb tabs is key for correct installation. Hope this helps.
  7. I'm running 17" Factory Edge Wheels on my 2013 Edge Sport AWD. The stock tire size on the 22" Factory Sport Wheel are much larger (rolling circumference > 4%) than the 17" Factory Wheel/Tire Setup. So be careful with that. Since you will be going w/new Winter Tires, take the opportunity to size them closer to your 22" setup. The tire size I am using is 245-70-R17 which is slightly larger (0.53%) in circumference than the 22" setup. So far this winter, they have performed flawless (much more sidewall rubber w/meaty treads)!

  9. Great job and it looks awesome... Question: The OEM chromalized wheel covers, can't they simply be removed (separated from the rim) and then painting them may be easier? Just a thought.
  10. Added Winter Wheels/Tires to my Wall for the wifey's Edge Sport. Quick pics from the iPhone... Just wanted to share :shades: Almost that time to strap on the Winter Setups!!! FYI, the other Winter Wheels/Tires are for the other Daily-Driver Baby.
  11. Hey Mike, Are these still available? No dents I presume... Please confirm. Can you look into sending to 48346. Thanks. Eddie
