  1. The tail light is similar but not enough to me to mistake the Escape for the 2015 Edge, and the Edge has the light bar to differentiate itself.

  4. 2015 Ford Edge price starts at $28,995, including an $895 destination charge. The Sport version will carry a $29,495 price tag, including shipping. http://www.edmunds.com/car-news/2015-ford-edge-priced-at-28995.html
  5. The features are set for the 2015 Edge, see order guide thread, and that feature is not offered. If that feature is important to you, then you should get the Volvo.

  9. Thanks for the information. Do you know the weight of the 2015 Edge Sport? I read the 2015s are supposed to be 50 pounds lighter than the 2011-2014 Edges.
  10. I also check all fluid levels and reset them from the steering wheel. I paid for the features, and I'm going to use them however I choose.
  11. No, you can walk around and check the tire pressure every month. I would rather check the tire pressure from behind the steering wheel. It seems the 2015 Edge might not have that option. I like having the computer let me know when there is low tire pressure as it does when there is an issue with the engine, seat belts, etc. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=-A76qhcpA8s
  12. We don't know, and it might be there, but they make no mention of it in their video.` https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=SoV2gDETsI4
  13. Gee I wish the 2015 Ford Edge had this feature. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=IfB67lnGITo https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=uuegrIAvkYk

  15. I think the 2016 MKX will have the power folding mirros as the MKC has them now. I prefer the look of the Edge Sport over the MKX too, and it will probably have all Edge features plus some more, but it will be at a higher cost.
  16. Some of the below vehicles might not be direct competition, but if someone wants a vehicle that can self-park, then there are plenty to chose from. The below vehicles also offer the tire monitoring feature and power folding mirrors. I'm not the only that would like those features, so please stop with YOU. The 2015 Edge Sport will be my third Edge Sport, so I see no reason why I cannot voice my disappoint. Magnetic does not know how much horsepower the Sport will have, so where did you see 350hp? BMW: 3, 5, 6 and 7 Series Land Rover: Evoque Mercedes:CLS, GLK, M-Class, GL and SL models Ford: C-Max Hybrid, C-Max Energi, Explorer, Escape, Flex, Fusion, Fusion Enegri, Fusion Hybrid and Taurus Lincoln: MKS, MKT, MKZ and MKC Toyota: Prius Lexus: LS in 2007
  17. Jim, You know the 2015 Edge Sport is not going to have anything remotely close to that, and Nissan had that two years ago. We will not be getting power folding mirrors, tow hitch and probably not a tire monitoring pressure feature on a $45,000-$50,000 vehicle, and we are the only ones disappointed. Everyone seems to fine with not having those features. I wonder how many members on this forum are going to buy a 2015 Edge Sport?
  18. I would use you the self-parking feature at ever opportunity I could. They should have also include brake assist with the self-parking feature.
  19. I hope they include the tire pressure monitoring feature on the 2015 Edge. The 2013 Edge lets you know one of your tires in low on pressure with a warning light in the gauge cluster, but it does not let you know which tire is low. So you have to guess which tire it is, and fill up each tire until the warning light goes off. I would not be surprised if they did not include it though.
  20. It is not deal breaker for me, but it would have been a nice feature to have.
  21. The MKC is a smaller vehicle, and it has power folding mirrors. If ford is going to market the Edge globally where some countries the streets are narrower, then the power folding mirrors are an excellent feature to have. Even in the US there are a lot of narrow streets and garages, and the power folding mirrors are a convenient feature.
  22. Some of them do not have some of those features, and the Land Rover Evoque has 360-degree camera and can self-park. Why would Ford pack the Edge with all these new tech features, but not have power folding mirrors and maybe not a tire pressure monitoring feature, and the same old MFT and then want to charge you close to $50,000? Have you seen the 2015 Nissan Murano interior and features? You said it yourself the interior in 2015 Edge is lifted from the Ford Fusion, so the interior is nothing special. I'm probably still going to pick one up as I'm not too crazy about the looks of the 2015 Nissan Murano, and the horsepower is pretty weak too. Ford could have given us a few more features for the money. $50,000 and they are now in Audi SQ5 price range, and are not given you the same build quality as an Audi SQ5.
