My dealer told me they went through their inventory, and marked the vehicles effected as do not sell. I don't know what they used to determine what vehicles were effected though.

You can critize, and critique the reviewer, but I found the review informative and helpful. I've had MFT on my 2011 and 2013 Edge Sport and it's slow, laggy, and constantly rebooting. I appreciate all of the reviewers videos. Why don't you make a video pointing out all the great features of MFT? The dealer couldn't give me a 2015 Edge Sport, but I do appreciate you guys being the guinea pigs for the first year models.

Another issue reported on this forum on the Edge Sport is the intercooler pipe coming off resulting in a lost of boost/power.

If I were you and if you can wait until the 2016 are available, then I would do that. The 2015s have too many issues for me, and I will not take the chance on one. The 2016s will also have SYNC 3 and adaptive steering available.

Have you read the below Car and Driver review? My advice is if you can wait for the 2016 Edge Sport then you should. People can take it for what it's worth, and I believe dealers will sell you vehicle right now. I was not planning on getting 2015, and from what I've read so far I would not take the chance. I hope the issue is corrected on the 2016 Edges, and they are scheduled to start production on the 2016s on 10-15-2015, and that should give them enough time to sort out-out the 2015 issues. The 2016s will also have SYNC 3 and adaptive steering.

The only thing they liked was the power and handling of the Sport, so bring the Titanium would not have changed their minds.

I stand corrected. I was thinking of the 2015s with MFT. I see Sync is available on the SE and SEL models, but I don't know if applink works with it. Maybe one of the forum members with an SE or SEL model will chime.in.

Yes, SYNC 3 will be available with the 2016s. I will be waiting on the 2016 Edge for SYNC 3 and for Ford to work out some of the issues they are having with the 2015s.

I hope they don't change the initial order date too much. When you place an order from the dealer do they require a deposit? I've never ordered a car from the factory, and I want to be prepared. It's going to be a long wait for the 2016s.

To the OP how long did your order take from order to delivery? I want to order a 2016 when the order banks open.

What type of quality control/checks are they doing at the factory and the dealerships? How are they letting vehicles released with water leaking issues?

I remember Omar saying if the lights are yellowish then they are not HIDs. The HIDs are only available with 401A $3700 equipment package. Do you have the 401A equipment package? The OP was wondering why the HIDs are not available on the 400A base package.
