I know as I use it all the time. I haven't used it to perpendicular park though.

The enhanced park assist works very well, and I use it all the time. When parking on the right side or passenger side, you do not have to put on the turn signal, you just push the button, and it will find the parking spot then follow the instructions on the screen. There tons of videos on Youtube demonstrating the feature, and you should check them out if you're still not sure how it works.

You can turnoff traction control on the 2015 Edge? If so how do you do it?

Test drove a 2015 Sport and have questions

Mine's is rock solid smooth. My 2013 Edge Sport would vibrate a lot, and that is one of things I noticed the 2015 did not do anything like that. -

I have no shaking or vibration on my 2015 Edge Sport. What you are describing is not normal. You should test drive another one. -
Get a 2016 or 2015 Edge Sport. I had a 2013 Edge Sport, and I got the 2015 Edge Sport, and I have no regrets. I've had zero issues with my 2015 and it is a much better vehicle than my 2013 Edge Sport.

When did the rattling start? I was concerned about some the issues I've read on here, but so far the car has been solid. I'm glad I lease, so if it starts to fall apart, I know I will get a new one in a couple of years. The only thing I use to hear rattling was my daughter's' car seat when she was not in it, and I replaced it with a booster seat, and now I do not hear anything rattling. The car is whisper quite.

Which model do you have?

I chose AWD for my 2015 Edge Sport as it helps put the power down, and second for the winter weather months.

I have 2015 Edge Sport AWD and have about 1000 miles on it, and I love it so far. I don't have any issues with water leaking inside the cabin, rattling noises or any of the other issues I've read on here. The 2015 Sport is a great upgrade from my 2013 Sport, and the 2013 Edge cannot compare. Ford got it right this time with the Sports model as it handles and rides good, has great power and some nice features. In the future, I would like to see Ford offer a better stereo option, park assist with brake support and power folding mirrors. Other than that I don't have too much to complain about at this time.

Enhanced Park Assist with Side Parking Sensors
blitz118 replied to blitz118's topic in Brakes, Chassis & Suspension
The cross traffic alert has been an option on the Edge since 2011, and it works better on the 2015 as you said sensing the cars approaching much further away. The backup and front display arrows work better too than they did on my 2011 and 2013 Edge Sport. -
Enhanced Park Assist with Side Parking Sensors

I don't know about a garage, but it works between two cars. You have enhanced park assist and you never used it? It still freaks me out when it says "Remove hands Shift to reverse" and the steering wheel starting spinning around by itself. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=q1_sEPLzKIc -

I love the enhanced park assist with side parking sensors feature. I use it all the time and drove around one night letting it park in and out of a lot of tight parking spots, and it worked perfectly every single time. I have a narrow garage, and the side sensors are great as they let me know how close I am next to the garage entrance. The front parking sensors allows me to park in the garage at the same spot every time. The enhanced park assist with side parking sensors is now a must have deal breaker feature for me for any future vehicle purchases. I hope in the future Ford adds brake support. The 2016 Chrysler Jeeps will have park assist with brake support, and I hope Ford does the same.

if you're worried about price, then go with the 20's, but the 21's look so much better to me and make the Edge standout.
-
Why are you having a heart attack? What did you think they would cost?
-
TireRack has them listed for $276. I think I paid around the same price for a replacement tire for my 2013 Edge Sport last year from TireRack.
-
In my case, I will never use the Edge to tow anything or have to tow anything. The 20-inch wheels are not my cup of tea, and I prefer the looks and performance of the 21s.

The tire pressure for the 21" is 35 psi.

Did you try it in sport mode? What tuning tool are they using? What else are they offering for the Edge Sport?
