Well I've seen enough of Sync 3 to know that I want it, and I won't settle for lesser product.

The problem with SYNC in my 2013 is it's laggy. I will wait for the 2016 Ford Edge Sport with SYNC 3 with the Google search navigation feature, better voice recognition and responsive screen.

The 2015 MFT is not upgradable to SYNC 3. SYNC 3 will be available on the 2016 Ford Edge. I will be waiting for the 2016 Edge with SYNC 3 and adaptive steering.

Once a day is not normal. I would occasionally get the maintenance screen on my 2013, but not once a day. It seems they did not fix much with the 2015s MFT.

Does anyone know how much boost the 2.7EB are running?

Do you have a link to the 2016 MKX weight? I've been trying to find out how much it weights. They could add the 2.7 later to the tune list, but I doubt it. The 3.5EB has been out for a while now, and the only thing they offer is an exhaust for the F-150.

The 2.7.EB is not part of the Ford performance program. Any mods you do could void your warranty if there are issues. I nice to think about the extra power you can get out of the 2.7, but I lease and is not worth the headache to me. I'm curious to see if there will be a performance difference between the Edge and the MKX as the MKX is projected to have more horsepower and torque from the factory.

They are not putting in the 2015 Edge that is out now. You will have to wait for the 2016 Edge and the 2017 MKX to get SYNC 3. Why the Hmmm?

There is an option in the menu to select when I touch the door handle to open the front doors or all four doors with the key fob in my pocket. It was on my US 2011 and 2013 Edge Sports.

The 2011-2014s have same sensor to do that too.

The thread went from new Edge Sport impressions to buy American tires. To the OP have you tried the transmission in Sport mode and the paddle-shifters? Do you have the enhanced active park assist? If so what is your impression of it?
