  1. Has anyone in Canada received this letter re customer satisfaction? & the 2.7 update. I sure haven't.
  2. Aw Curlysir, I was waiting for you to go first!!!
  3. Yes, it's actually weird. I was actually driving when mine went haywire. The funny thing is the date is now correct but the time, as mentioned, is 2 1/2 hour fast, so I to have have to de-select the gps button and manually set the clock. As soon as the gps button is selected again the clock jumps ahead the 2.5 hours. Not a big deal but I will get it fixed when they notify me that a fix is available.
  4. I am sure it will...or screw up other things...The only reason the clock was mentioned regarding 2.7 was because that was the problem I had (actually the only one right now) and when I called the Sync guys on the phone I was told they were working on a fix and expected in the next update which happened to be 2.7. There has also been a mention somewhere on the forum about a TSB 11-3-15. I love to know what is in this TSB.
  5. Quite a few 2011 Edge owners have clocks that won't keep time when trying to sync with the gps. Some are showing the calendar year out by 20 years or more. My clock is always 2.5 to 3.5 hours fast. Actually for the first couple weeks I had the car it was perfect and then one day while driving on the highway the clock jumped ahead 5.5 hours and the calendar date was incorrect. Two days later the clock was 3.5 hours fast and after DST it was 2.5 hours but now the calendar is correct. If you go into 'Menu' 'Clock' you will see the setting regarding GPS, date, time.
  6. I have been wondering the same. I did have a conversation with a tech at syncmyride and he said one of the things they hoped to fix was the clock/calendar problem. Not sure what else.
  7. Just a quick update on the problem I posted earlier re no audio on Nav. and Radio. Did another 200km trip today and I disconnected the cell phone and re-paired it...guess what? everything worked perfectly.
  8. I have a new problem, or at least have not seen it on the forum. Traveling on the highway with a Nav Destination turned on, Sirius radio on. Came to a turn-off on the highway, the radio volume went down, was waiting for the turn info to be announced...nothing. The radio volume was still barely audible and was unable to turn the volume up using the steering wheel controls. Stopped the car and re-started and radio volume was back and steering wheel control worked...Same thing happened at every turn off along the route. Anyone else had this problem?
  9. Go to syncmyride.com Manage Accounts View History (bottom right of page) Note. You have to register if you haven't already done so.
  10. Anyone know what this TSB is specifically for? I was told that there would be something coming out to fix the clock/calendar issue.
  11. The date on mine is correct. The clock switched automatically to DST. However the clock still won't sync with gps. However, instead of 3.5 hours fast it is now 2.5 hours fast. Waiting for the 2.7 update to get the clock corrected.
  12. My calendar is correct now but the clock won't sync with the gps, it's 3.5 hours fast. Don't know why the calendar corrected itself and not the clock. Dealership here doesn't have the 2.7 update yet.
  13. I was told it dealt mainly with the clock/calendar issues.
  14. Actually I have had intermittent trouble with my Cross Traffic/Blind Spot. I have had two occasions where I have been driving on the highway, the light will come on and stay on for several days and error message on the left screen. It corrected itself for about a week and two days ago the same thing happened and today it again corrected itself. The alert works on the passenger side but not the drivers side. Ford is now thinking it may be a sensor problem because there is a left and right sensor. I was advised today that within the next few days (MFT quote) there will be an update, mainly to correct the clock issues so may wait for that update before dealing with the Bliss problem.
  15. That's good news. I love my Garmin and have been using them for years, I found the Edge Nav. maps are years out of date. I think they are probably more up to date for the larger centers. I have decided, after using the ford nav, that I will be ordering the new Garmin (23-24 series) in the near future. I find the Edge Nav maps lack detail and I have an issue with the POI's. I guess everyone has different requirements and glad to hear that the Nav. on your Edge serves you well. I did a 30,000 Km road trip last spring and summer and it was so nice to be able to program routes in advance on the Garmin and loading up with POI's. I think you can program 100 routes into the new Garmin Nuvi.
  16. Thanks for the report. I guess I will hold off then. Thanks for being the scape goat lol...keep us advised if anything new.
  17. Looking forward to the results after your visit to the dealership.
  18. I was also speaking with sync on Thursday and was told the same regarding TSB 10-24-9. My only trouble is with the clock.
  19. First problems cropped up couple days ago while on the highway. But the Cross Traffic/Blind Spot alert corrected itself the following morning but the clock is all over the place...I think I have been in every time zone from Asia to NL with this clock. Jumped ahead 5 hours, then down to 3 and now about 2...should be in NST zone in couple more days..lol.
  20. Shane, were all your other issues corrected?
  21. Thanks Wilson. I was using the Nav at the time. This morning I went into the clock menu to make sure it was using the GPS time and it was.
  22. I have had my Ford Edge Ltd for 3 weeks and yesterday the clock jumped ahead 4 hours. This morning it's 2 hours. All the settings are correct. Yesterday the Date/Year was incorrect, this morning the date is correct but the time is still out by 2 hours. Does anyone know if pulling the famous fuse 29 will correct the problem. Just got off the phone with Sync and they told me there is a TSB 10-24-9 that may correct the problem...I imagine it's just basically a Software Flash...but does it correct the clock issue. Just curious because to me the clock is not a major issue.
  23. I have had my 2011 edge for about 3 weeks. Great car and worth the 3 1/2 month wait. First problem was yesterday on a road trip. Driving at 100kph when the Cross Traffic/Blind Spot error light came on in the car and the little yellow light on the mirror stayed on. The clock jumped ahead 4 hours and the calendar was years out. Did all the usual checks with the clock (gps sync etc) all was setup properly. Was about to go to the dealership this morning but for kicks I downloaded the sync status checker last evening and reported the successful install. This morning I started the car and the Cross Traffic/Blind Spot alert was gone and everything worked perfectly. The calendar date was correct but now the clock was about 2 hours fast. Anyway for just the clock I decided not to go to the dealership & to let that one go for awhile because I understand they are working on a fix for that problem.
