Insurance licensing is different state to state as are state laws, thus the need for separate policies.
-
It's been out for over a month now and is available for all MFT systems.

They would probably still give you the discount but you'd have to talk to an agent to get that done.

Braking one wheel to send torque to the other is electronic traction control and it only kicks in when one wheel starts slipping. It also cuts engine torque so it's not for performance. Not a substitute for torque vectoring or a limited slip diff (all Edge/Fusion/Escape diffs are open). Torque vectoring Performance AWD from the Focus RS uses clutch packs on the rear differential to shift torque for better performance and handling. It will only be on performance models like the Focus RS and possibly the expected Fusion ST. I think it will also debut on the 2017 Lincoln MkZ.

Policies are state specific so a separate policy is probably required. I would call the insurance company and ask them how to handle it - I'm sure it comes up frequently. Or they may have it in their FAQs already.

Like I said - maybe they changed it but as far back as 2013 it was not available in Canada because everyone here was bitching about it endlessly (and deservedly so).

It happens to me sometimes - I'm 99% sure I'm hitting the lock area accidentally. A physical button would be nice. -
Sirius Radio, yes. I was talking about the added features like travellink. Those were not available in Canada in the past. Did that change?

If it works and makes you feel better - go for it. Ford is just saying not to touch it because it could interfere with the unlock mechanism. -
As far as I know no Sirius features are available in Canada. Dealer's shuttle must be a U.S. vehicle.

And you don't have to pull on the handle twice. What you did was pull on the handle too soon before it had a chance to unlock. You have to grab it and wait a split second for the unlocking sound then pull on it. This is all clearly spelled out in the OM. -

Because THAT'S NOT UNLOCKING THE DOOR! You can tell by watching the red leds - when you touch the ribbed part they should light up or stay lit indicating the door is locked. Touching the inside of the door handle is what unlocks it. Try it - walk up to the locked car and grab the handle without touching the ribbed part. It will unlock the doors. -

Why would you want to lock it before you unlock it? I don't think it's really any faster - just seems that way based on how you were doing it before. -

Yes that's the lock area. If you didn't know that was the lock area how have you been locking it? When you grab the door handle to open the door, just wait a split second after touching it before grabbing it and it will unlock. You'll get used to it pretty quickly and it will be second nature. When closing the door, touch the ribbed area to lock it. -
THRACK! I ducked but my windshiled.....Uuuuugh!

They can't (or won't) usually do a repair if it's within the driver's line of sight. But good luck. -

Check your insurance - often times the windshield coverage is different and may cost a lot less than your normal deductible. -
Seat comfort is such an individual thing. What is comfortable for one person isn't for another. I've never had a problem with seats in any Ford or Lincoln we've purchased until our 2014 Escape Titanium. The manual passenger seat feels like it's 2 inches too high and overall they're just not as comfortable as we're used to. From now on we'll be testing the seats very carefully.

Nope. Power tilt/telescoping wheel with memory is standard on the 2016 Sport per the order guide and co firmed by Ford.

I'm really liking that color. Not sure what the wife thinks yet - it will be her vehicle. -
Common problem. Ford should have a redesigned taillight to fix that soon.

I was just trying to compare features between sel, titaniums and sports and that wasn't working either. Obviously they're having issues with the 2016 website changes.
