Ditto...wait. It uses gracenote for album artwork and I know there are some options for how it works and when it's updated, etc. but can't remember the details. But you should be able to google it.
So they send them back and get the correct parts.
But how do you know the dealership didn't order the wrong parts and they just told you the numbers on the box were incorrect to shift blame away from them?
Either way I'm not sure what you expect Ford to do - the dealer just needs to reorder the correct parts either way.
Stopped. You can't enter an address manually while moving. You can use voice control to do it at any time. It's worked for me but some report it doesn't work for them.
Honestly you need to go test one to see if you have problems with it or not. It's not going to respond like a smart phone or ipad but the only issue I have with MFT (I have it on 3 vehicles) is when I use voice command to play a song or playlist it continues playing the current one for 4 or 5 seconds before starting the new one.
This has nothing whatsoever to do with Ford - this is an issue with your dealer. You should demand they cancel the sale and refund your money since they were not able to deliver the vehicle you purchased in the agreed upon condition. Get your money back and find another one.
Try a different key. When you straightwired the starter was the key in the Run position?
Try jiggling the the shifter and move it back and forth a few times.
I remember all the original PTU seal replacements - almost none of them worked because the techs weren't really trained yet and it was a difficult procedure.
You're overstating how hard the engine has to "work" to pull in air. When you remove intake or exhaust restrictions you simply allow more air into the engine and that's where the extra power comes from. Not from reduced load. And that difference only shows up at WOT or close to it.
You can put a cloth diaper in the airbox and still get better mpg - somebody actually did that test.
But I'm not going to continue to argue about it. Believe whatever you want to believe.
As for the K&N providing better fuel economy, if that were true then K&N would have hard data posted all over their website to support it just like they have dyno runs showing hp gains. They don't. Draw your own conclusions.
