To start the car click on DOOR LOCK button then hit the 2X button twice (within 5 seconds of each other). So you need to click on a total of 3 times. Door lock, then the 2X button 2 times
I had to show my salesman the same thing
I had my radio turned down also. That usually goes off when the door is opened.
I learned my lesson now. Check and double check. At least it wasn't in a garage
Hello
Went into the bowling ally to watch my daughter bowl. Came out to find it running . I thought when you got away from the vehicle with the key fob that it would shut off. I did think I pressed the button but apparently not
Car was running for 2 1/2 hours
Don't let it get to you. you are entitled to express your opinion that is why it's called a "forum".
Just as the 2007 model year Edge had issues with things such as a poorly placed hatch release handle (corrected in the 2008 model) and a glossy dash that reflected back at you. I'm sure these little imperfections will be addressed at a later model year. Frustrating that these obvious glitches weren't seen beforehand but it shouldn't take away the enjoyment of the vehicle
Pretty sure it is on the screen to the left of the speedo. Scroll through the options using the 4 way controller on the steering wheel (left side) and you will find it.
Good luch
Hello again
Today while driving to the store my "Check Engine" light came on. I restarted the car but still remains on. Anyone experience this yet on their new Edge? Mine only has less than 300 miles on it
For the second time in two weeks the clock in the car has gone off. It was just off an hour and will bet will be back to normal after I get back in it. First time it happened I didn't believe myself that it did it. Strange... I did use a Sync service to get directions (I wonder if that had anything to do with it)
Hello
Having the remote start set to automatic for rear defroster and heated seats. Can someone tell me when they should come on? Is it at 32 degrees because here in NY this morning it was 36 and I could have used it
Thanks
