no picture. May want to try again
  3. The updated mirrors fit without a problem. There is an extended thread on this. Just find a 2010 on the lot that matches your mirror (heated, no heat) take the vin and order the part. around 75.00
  4. Simple enough to respray the cover or have a body shop do it :yup:
  5. As stated n Neweggs's website... both units play the same DVD. They do look good though http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16882011006
  6. I have owned these NEW vehicles over the years 1974 Camaro with custom Starsky and Hutch paint stripes on side and hood, trunk (1st favorite) red with white striping 1975 Caprice 1976 MG Midget (my worst car ever!!) 1978 Dodge aspen 1982 Pontiac 2000 (rear main seal issues that were never corrected) 1985 Monte Carlo SS (black paint issues although it was a very nice car)) 1986 Monte Carlo SS 1987 Ford Taurus (Ford quality was not great in 1987) 1995 Ford Winstar 1996 Ford Winstar 1997 Ford Escape Wagon 1999 Chevy Malibu 2001 Ford Taurus 2002 Ford Mustang convertible 2004 Mercury Sable 2005 Saturn Ion 2007 Ford Edge (2nd Favorite) 2009 Scion Xb (my wife's favorite) Not counting the used vehicles we have owned I am definitely a Ford guy and have a very good local dealer
  7. Sorry if you don't get it. Guess you can't "see" why there is a right hand side mirror as well? All these things you may not "see" serve as safety enhancement features. Some required by law and others not. I personally get use out of them and makes me a safer driver.
  8. They come in handy for an "On Demand" option. If you were to backup or even driving down the highway in a downpour. A couple of passes with the rear wiper and you can safely see behind you. To have them on constantly in rain is asking to kill your blade. I had a '95 and '96 Windstar minivan that providing your front wipers were on and the vehicle put in reverse, the rear wiper would come on and make 2 passes. A very nice option I don't see on Ford vehicles anymore.
  9. The dealership is 100% wrong. I have an 07 and had them enabled
  10. Can't tell you where but just read the car is "warmed up" and ready to drive in as little as 30 seconds
  11. When I had a tire repaired I was told to drive a quarter mile to reset the TPMS. I didn't get very far before it reset.
  12. The sales manager not ordering it doesn't change the fact that it can still be done. I had mine done and was charged an half hour labor (was hoping it would have been free) Good luck and if you get no satisfaction then go to another dealer
  13. Not exactly, I think it just may be showing the "possible" warning codes. as if when you turn the key and all the idiot lights come on for a system check. I may be wrong but that's my guess
  14. may be a systems check before the engine cranks, speedo was on 0
  15. No problem The seal will drip onto the exhaust manifold so it will give a burning smell like a fan belt burning. Usually stopping at a light or even backing up and stopping would be a good time to notice it. Whenever you take it in for periodic service I would have them check it. Hopefully they found a permanent fix. FYI. The mirrors on the '09 which have the built in convex mirror will fit your '07. You would replace the mirror glass only and I think I paid about 50.00 for each side Again, Best of luck with it
  16. If you happen to have All wheel drive then you need to watch the PTU seal. I have an '07 and had it replaced 3 times already. I only have 17,000 US miles. Love the vehicle however Best of luck with it
  17. Fair enough. Here in Long Island, NY it is 17. Even that is too young for most of these kids (who have the iPod, cell phone, and whatever else playing. I do stand corrected
  18. Is it just me or is 15 just a little young? What state are you in?
  19. OK guess that's a possibility . Didn't think of that
  20. And why wouldn't this be covered under warranty??
  21. Thank you all foe the help. Wasn't sure if engine should be cold, warm, or hot . Think I'll try that simple green
  22. Hello Does anyone have some tips to easily clean under the hood? A few years ago I had a Ford Taurus in the body shop to repair the front quarter fender. When I got my car back I was happily surprised that the engine compartment was cleaned after 3 years of use and now was like the day I bought (leased) it. Happy motoring
