Sorry if you don't get it. Guess you can't "see" why there is a right hand side mirror as well? All these things you may not "see" serve as safety enhancement features. Some required by law and others not. I personally get use out of them and makes me a safer driver.

They come in handy for an "On Demand" option. If you were to backup or even driving down the highway in a downpour. A couple of passes with the rear wiper and you can safely see behind you. To have them on constantly in rain is asking to kill your blade. I had a '95 and '96 Windstar minivan that providing your front wipers were on and the vehicle put in reverse, the rear wiper would come on and make 2 passes. A very nice option I don't see on Ford vehicles anymore.

Can't tell you where but just read the car is "warmed up" and ready to drive in as little as 30 seconds

When I had a tire repaired I was told to drive a quarter mile to reset the TPMS. I didn't get very far before it reset.

The sales manager not ordering it doesn't change the fact that it can still be done. I had mine done and was charged an half hour labor (was hoping it would have been free) Good luck and if you get no satisfaction then go to another dealer

Not exactly, I think it just may be showing the "possible" warning codes. as if when you turn the key and all the idiot lights come on for a system check. I may be wrong but that's my guess

No problem The seal will drip onto the exhaust manifold so it will give a burning smell like a fan belt burning. Usually stopping at a light or even backing up and stopping would be a good time to notice it. Whenever you take it in for periodic service I would have them check it. Hopefully they found a permanent fix. FYI. The mirrors on the '09 which have the built in convex mirror will fit your '07. You would replace the mirror glass only and I think I paid about 50.00 for each side Again, Best of luck with it

If you happen to have All wheel drive then you need to watch the PTU seal. I have an '07 and had it replaced 3 times already. I only have 17,000 US miles. Love the vehicle however Best of luck with it

Fair enough. Here in Long Island, NY it is 17. Even that is too young for most of these kids (who have the iPod, cell phone, and whatever else playing. I do stand corrected

Hello Does anyone have some tips to easily clean under the hood? A few years ago I had a Ford Taurus in the body shop to repair the front quarter fender. When I got my car back I was happily surprised that the engine compartment was cleaned after 3 years of use and now was like the day I bought (leased) it. Happy motoring

Sounds like they took advantage. Only my drivers door was problematic. As I said earlier they replaced the rod assembly and has been fine ever since

Only a "2 way remote" will tell you if the vehicle is started. Changing the remote fob won't help any. As you can imagine a 2 way remote will be more expensive. I cannot help you change the running time but I would like to know myself. Good luck

Hello again I went back out to the car and although it is cold I was determined to get this wiper replaced. I did read the instructions given by Trico. At first I was getting nowhere doing it their way and finally gave up. I put the wiper back in the car and closed the rear hatch. I just had to try one more time and although I can't tell you exactly how I did it but I did manage to get the wiper blade off. It came off quite easily I may add. Follow the instructions and the wiper will pretty much pop out of the arm. I had the fingers of my left hand between the arm and the blade near the center where the arm snaps in, my right hand was squeezing the blade between the right side of blade and the arm. I then squeezed and pulled the blade with my right hand out toward the rear right right tail light. When you try to pull it out it pulls on an angle not straight toward back of car. I hope someone can make sense of this. My total time trying to change the rear blade was no more than 5-7 minutes.
