I can tell you my Edge Limited with remote does turn the heated seats and rear defroster on. Temps must be below freezing however. Once I start the car after getting in I must then turn the seats and rear defroster back on because once you physically start the car the seats and defroster turn off

I too have wind noise from my 2011. I think it is coming from the right side doors or windows or possibly from the BAMR. My 2007 edge was nice and quiet

As far as the av hook ups (RCA) YES providing the car is in park and possibly the parking brake applied

I thought the iphone4 can only tether if it is jailbroken or possibly for an extra fee

Mine says 500 miles when I have 2740 on it. I also had a service at 1550 that it didn't pickup. I think if you enter how many average miles you do each day it will automatically update the mileage accordingly

The last Gen2 update may have messed things up. Try pressing unlock, lock, then remote start 2X. You can also press lock 2X plus remote start 2X but the horn will beep. Once you do a USB at home update this should be resolved Sorry I don't have update #'s for you but I'm sure someone else will chime in

After my Gen2 update I had the same issues. I then downloaded a Sync USB update which corrected the Lincoln logo (not there anymore) I still have 2 colors on my ambient lighting switched

FYI the latest usb update corrected my Lincoln logo but not the ambient lighting switch. I do have the gray color however

The remote start is a 3 step process. Lock door button then remote start button twice within 5 seconds. Guess so you don't start it by mistake. As far as the navigation I'm happy with it. In settings you can change the day and night view if you wish. at least that is what I remember anyway

The latest usb update cured my Lincoln logo. That disappeared but my ambient lighting is still messed up
