  3. No discount for me. I renewed for a year with Sirius Everything plus traffic and travel. Cost something like 224.00 Not cheap
  4. I have what may be a stupid question. After the 2.7 update I lost the icons on my map (IE: gas stations, hospitals, etc) Can someone point me to the right menu to get them back?? I also updated my Sirius recently with travel and traffic link included
  5. Best of luck with it. I had an 07 SEL Plus before my 2011. The AWD can go through the deepest snow with no problem and I believe they actually redesigned the PTU seal where it shouldn't be a problem any more. The only negative thing I can say about my '07 were the soft brakes otherwise an excellent vehicle. That's why I got another one
  6. No I haven't but I am running out to the car right now to try it No such luck. I get the first 4 entries of each of the 4 alpha sub categories and that's it
  7. When choosing which contacts to add from the phone book it only shows the first few entries under each alpha category. IE: under A-F it may only show thy "A" entries, Under G through M only the G named entries, etc Without seeing it I am not exactly sure how the phone book is broken down but it will not allow you to scroll through your contact list Hope it makes sense to you
  8. Viper my findings are pretty much the same. I hope they resolve the "Adding emergency contacts"" on the 911 screen issue on the next upgrade. Overall I see a big improvement from the initial system back in September
  9. On a positive note I've noticed the issue with the radio turning off after a restart has been corrected with this latest update. So far so good
  10. No charge. Ford sent a letter stating its a "Customer satisfaction service" or something like that. Ford is aware they have issues with the system and I can't imagine Ford trying to charge you for any type of improvement. Unless you have a real shady dealer
  11. OK so i went out this morning in 27 degree weather. Screen was responsive and functions like the seat warmers worked quickly. I do see an improvement in responsiveness
  12. Had mine done yesterday. Paperwork said they spent 1.3 hours on it. I do see an improvement on responsiveness
  13. Have to say I had no real issues other than the entire phone book not being shown when trying to enter 911 Emergency contact #'s. I did pair my phone and re downloaded my phonebook (same issue with 911 contacts) I will not be using the car until tomorrow but from the few minutes I played with it I really don't see any real improvement with key function speed. I'll know better tomorrow. Everything seems to work OK
  14. Just picked it up. Only drove home and didn't have a chance to go through it. I need to re-pair my phone and had to set clock for Daylight Savings. I will get back out to the car tonight to check things out
  15. I just dropped my car off for the update. The tech writer said that there may be an even newer update then the 2.7. I'll let you know how I make out
  16. Letter states that there is no cost to the consumer for the latest 2.7 update. Additionally you just have to say that it isn't working correctly when you want a software update. There may be an issue if you tell them that it's working correctly and at that point they may feel it's not warranty related. I hope this helps

  18. I am not having any issues as well. There are days when it is really cold that the system lags but nothing major. The last dealer update increased my phone pairing considerably. I think it would only help so I'll give it a go

  21. Just received a letter from Ford. Going in on Friday for a MyTouch update "Customer Satisfaction Program 10B20" Letter says about a half day to service it

  23. Hello My 6 month Sirius free trial is about to expire. Do I need to add Sirius travel and traffic to my subscription or is that part of the 3 year complimentary service? Or is the 3 year comp service Sync only?? Plus if I do need to add Sirius travel and traffic doesn't that do the same as Sync traffic? Maybe someone can clear this up Thanks
