  1. It's important to acknowledge that everyone, even the dealership personnel, have bills to pay and families to feed. Ford already undercuts the labor on warranty claims. For example, the new mft update takes 45 minutes to an hour, and ford pays the dealership less than a third of an hour labor for doing it. With things like this, you're not paying them for what they do. You're paying them for doing what you can't.
  2. Just leave it in the car and use the keypad on the door. There are passive countermeasures that prevent anyone from starting the car if they get in any other way than you locked it.
  3. I have to say that I agree with akirby. If you want to point out an issue and ask for help/advise, that's one thing. If you want to be a negative whiny bitch and start a fight for no reason, it's another. You clearly don't understand the whole point of a site like this. Please know that I don't actually have an issue with you personally, but sometimes it's the right thing to do to swallow your pride when it's obvious that you're in the wrong.
  4. What's the biggest one anyone has used in the edge?
  5. You can't. Only the dealer can and they won't.
  6. I told my 12 year-old that the day he sent me a teen text acronym would be the day that his phone got bashed with a 5 lb. sledge.
  7. K, so here's the dilemma... I have my flash drive back and I wish there were a way to share, but I'm not very interested in personal liability if one of y'all bricks your car, or if Ford wants to prosecute me for file piracy...

Most of the Panasonic ones are great, but make sure you get one with a leica lens. The nikons take great photos, but some can be a pita to use.
  9. I got it barely used from a Manheim auction. Saved a ton over new.

Fordguru, I usually use either b&h photo or Amazon. C_bova, what features are you looking for?
  11. Yeah, I'm going to paint that tuxedo black as well. Here are pics of the drl strips for your reference.
  12. Oh, and the LEDs and the spaces between are all under a piece of glass as well. I'll take a pic and post it when my ice pack warms up some.
  13. I'm going to leave mine black, and I plan to paint the inside of my headlights tuxedo black.

I forgot to mention... Make sure you get uv filters for your lenses. Anti-haze and lens protection simultaneously. I'd suggest you get multi-coated ones, so you don't get ghosting. You also might want a cpl filter. You can save money by buying the biggest one in the size of your biggest lens and buying adapters so that you can use it on your smaller lenses. Tiffen and Hoya are fine, but the best is b+w.
  15. Lmao! I had a buddy get a 138 in a 65 in a mountaineer. He went to court and his defense was, "your honor, do you really believe a Mercury Mountaineer would even go that fast? " the judge dismissed it. He neglected to mention the supercharger, nitrous, methanol, and co2 sprayers.
  16. A Ducati. I have extra equipment here in my garage that I could probably part with if you have a need.
  17. They're called "light pipes. " and remember that the philips 8s are black.
  18. That gun was tested against my k40 diffusers and was defeated. 142 in a 55, construction zone.
  19. Well, after a $5k ticket, you would too.

Make sure that your new lenses have an internal focus. The difference is huge.
  21. I'm still recovering, so I can't do any of the real projects that I've got to do, but I was about to lose my mind with cabin fever today. I put a second (backup) radar detector on the windshield, mounted my Scangauge II on my mirror, and put three transponders on my windshield. Even though it looks like my vision would be heavily obscurred in the pics, it's not. The only thing taking up any real estate that wasn't already blocked or otherwise useless is the radar detector. Also, imagine the radar detector cord not there, as I'm making a pigtail to run off of the mirror as we speak (type). Thoughts?
  22. Mikey, you're not that far from several of us in the Forsythish Fultonish area. If you have time tomorrow, and don't mind driving up here, I can tell you how to have it tomorrow.
