  1. Yeah. I did mine in my driveway. Anyone can do it. Not complicated at all.
  2. Actually, I can't now. I wish y'all had thought of that earlier. I loaned it to a dealership around lunchtime today because nobody on here needed it.
  3. I did last month. It didn't go too far. http://www.fordedgeforum.com/index.php?/topic/9024-digital-cameras/
  4. So you know what you're doing! Great! I went Nikon instead. I've had and sold many lenses, but I think I now have the perfect combination now. I have a 10.5mm fisheye, an 85mm micro/macro with VR, a 12-24mm, an 18-200mm VR, and a 70-300mm VR.
  5. That's pretty decent coverage for most shots. You might want to add a nice 35 to 50mm prime and maybe a macro lens one day.
  6. Nav seemed to be faster. I haven't tried too many addresses, though, so I don't know if it'll be more effective. If there's a web browser there, I didn't see it.
  7. Oh, also, if anyone in the Atlanta area is impatient and wants it now instead of waiting, let me know. I have it here and don't mind sharing. You'll have to wait for the nav card in the mail, though.
  8. dj, it came from a dealer. redbirdpat, I'm inside now with an ice pack on my leg, so I'm working on memory, but I think there was a reset in the same place as on the old system. I'm not sure how much you'll need it, though. The new software is WAY faster, and I tried to hang it and couldn't. Even with auto phonebook download on, it was 3 seconds from off to fully running, and indexing my music flash drive took under 30 seconds.
  9. I didn't have wind noise. Here are some shots for y'all to enjoy: While first installing: Service pack! More installing... Success! Even more successful! Running! Nav card in! Phone working! Yeah, I might be a little excited. If anyone has a question, I'll do my best to answer...
  10. Oh. I keep looking for this place on mine, but mine's just fine.
  11. Pretty nice camera. What lenses did you get?
  12. I'm not sure which manufacturer he used, as there were some relatively tough criteria to be met. I know it's Biolox Delta ceramic on a tantalum implant. It's also a 36mm. Does that help? I'm 6'4", 240 lbs, and 34 years old, so I know he was very picky about the choices. As far as the lights, I don't think they'll be more than an hour or two total.
  13. I didn't mount them. They got here on the 16th, and I had a hip replacement on the 21st. All I've done is hold the contacts on the battery to see. I'll eventually mount them in the factory lights, but only to come on when the transmission is in D. They're Mercedes/Porsche/Audi bright.
  14. When the volume drops and it's "talking," turn the volume up.
  15. Mine didn't have that gap. Mine did, however, have a gap at the rear sunroof. I smacked it and it's all better.
  16. I Got the ones from v-LEDs.com that have 90-ish LEDs. They work great. Ken Cook and his glorious mustache said it was coming straight for me. We had about 3 minutes of wide open wind and rain, but there seems to be no damage anywhere near here. How bout there?
  17. One of the things on my to do list is a front camera. Does that count?
  18. I decided to quit smoking. I then no longer needed vent visors.
