Mine is written up as a 22K loan, but at the time of purchase, I paid all but $400 of the entire purchase in cash. That way, the dealer gets a spliff from Ford Credit for getting me to finance. They are very good to me, so I don't mind. My wife got an Escape yesterday, too, but we leased hers.

I've only owned it for 26 hours now, so I haven't had time to mod much. Most of the ones I've done are minor, as I have to have hip surgery soon and am limited. Also, the front tag bracket is going away and new bottom bar is coming. When I ordered it, I even specified no front tag bracket, but they did it anyway.
