  1. Sounds like a cat. Converter issue http://repairpal.com/obd-ii-code-p0422
  2. I've been around the tuning world for a few years (my cobra, several mustangs, and my F150) and I can tell you that you won't see a lot of "performance" gains on a NA edge but what you will see a huge improvement in will be drivability. Now on the other hand you should see significant gains on the ecoboost motors. I'm currently looking to tune my 2014 sport.
  3. I use a blend mount mount to the stem of the mirror for my passport solo detector (wireless). Kinda pricy but it's an awesome piece. http://www.blendmount.com/?gclid=CLnmgo_K3MECFSgV7AoduC0AfQ Then they also sell a loom that plugs into the rear view mirror to get rid of the cord running down to the power outlet. You'll have to check if they have it for your unit. http://www.blendmount.com/mirrortap.html That part from Amazon should work just fine.
  4. Welcome. And thanks for supporting Ford!
  5. I don't use any of those Protectants any more on my interior. I do clean the surfaces with an interior detailer. You might want to remove that armor all and if you need to put something on there go with a low or no shine product
  6. X plan is for friends and neighbors. A plan is for employee and family only. Congrats on your new edge, you'll love it. I'm on my 2nd one. My 14 sport is my favorite vehicle I've ever owned, and I've owned a TON of cars and trucks..
  7. I average roughly 18.5-19.0 mpgs combined city/highway. All highway it gets 22-23 mpg
  8. Now, the Acadia rides really nice, but it's huge
  9. Next to my wife's 2014 GMC Acadia
  10. The sport does have the blacked out grill. Haven't driven the Lincoln or a Cherokee but their rides are most likely plusher.
  11. I had a 2012 AWD SEL with the 3.5L, I now have a 2014 AWD Sport with the 3.7L. The SEL drove great and fuel mileage was decent. I wanted the sport from day 1 but couldn't find one. My 14 sport rides a little stiffer and the fuel mileage is a little worse but I don't care. I have every single option that you can get and I love the looks of the sport. I looked at the Lincoln but it just couldn't beat the looks of the sport.
  12. Venture shield clear bra is hands down the best protection you can buy. Virtually invisible. It's not cheap but it works! My brother in law and a few other friends have had them on their daily driver cars for a number of years. I think I'm gonna have it installed on my new sport since I do more highway driving now.
  13. Ditto on the weathertechs. Been using them for years in multiple vehicles and my carpets still look new underneath
  14. I bought it from this seller on eBay. Super fast shipping too! This was the absolute best price I could find, believe me I looked. http://www.ebay.com/itm/NEW-OEM-STOCK-FACTORY-FORD-SMARTPHONE-REMOTE-START-STARTER-KIT-iphone-android-/350950539631?pt=Motors_Car_Truck_Parts_Accessories&hash=item51b648416f&vxp=mtr Let me know if you have any questions or pm me your number if you'd rather talk on the phone. Hector
  15. I received the remote access kit today and 20 minutes later I was at my local ford dealer getting it programmed. Took 5 minutes to program and I was on my way. Works like a charm!
  16. Yes thank you. Went to my local ford dealer today and he showed me the process
  17. Here's the website https://my.fordremoteaccess.com/login
  18. Thank you. But how are people getting these units programmed over the phone? I have the website that's used for programming bookmarked.
  19. I'm looking to install this system in my 2014 EdgeSport. It came with the factory remote start/push button start. What was the exact part number you purchased? And who had the best price? After researching I came up with this: DL3Z 19G364 A. Is that correct? I also read that the install is pretty easy then I can activate via the internet without involving the dealer. Once I enter the SIM # provided a pin # will be generated and then all that's left is to download the ap and register. Does that sound about right? Thank you
  20. We have 1of each. * My wife drives a 2014 Acadia SLT with 3rd row seating. Real world fuel numbers for her are 13-16 mpg around town and we averaged 22 mpg on a recent trip from Ohio to Florida. The Acadia seems a little underpowered for its size and weight but overall a great vehicle. * I just bought my 2nd Edge, went from a 3.5L SEL with AWD which averaged 18-19 mpg in town to 24-26 mpg highway to a 2014 Edge Sport AWD with a 3.7L. I've been averaging around 17.5-18.5 mpg in town.
