Not a fan of the 2015's but yours looks really nice in black

My 2012 SEL had that option on the steering wheel controls, however my 2014 Sport does not. I really miss being able to do that

I'm right there with you. I do not care for the look of the 2015 Edge, too angular if that makes any sense. The tail lights look horrible, the front end is starting to look like every other suv/cuv out there. I'm on my 2nd Edge, I have a 2014 Sport and love the looks of it, the 2015 Sport not so much

I've been looking for a custom tuner that can write a tune for my 2014 Edge Sport. Not really looking for performance gains per se, more for driveability. I would imagine that there isn't a very big market for these cars

The entire system cost me $383 bucks on eBay, you can get it for less $$$ if you look. I installed it and dealer activated it for me at no charge

The shield is a superb carry pistol, as far as IWB holsters go, I have several Winthrop holsters for my carry firearms. They are somewhat local to me and checked out their production process. Small company, great product. http://www.winthropholsters.com

All plug and play, dealer will activate after you install it. Do a search on here there is a huge thread about remote access. I installed it on my edge and love it.

Drive XR7, are the illuminated sill plates direct plug in? Was the harness in the car from the factory. My 2014 didn't come with them and was wondering if the harness is already there.

It's the contact patch from those wide tires, I had a cobra that was all over the road especially on these shitty roads here in Ohio. My 14 sport does it, my 12 SEL did not.

The range will be determined by line of sight. In other words if you're standing in a field and your truck is 500 feet away, it will communicate. Same distance with buildings in the way it will never work. He'll half the time my factory installed 1 way remote wouldn't even work from inside my house. $485 sounds like a lot, do it yourself and save a ton of money

Factory alarm does not have a shock sensor. I enabled mine. Just simply remove the jumper plug

Great post but you do not need to remove that rear panel or seatbelt bolt, just open it up enough to install your modules. Seriously this takes very little time to install. And use a panel puller or fork like tool to pull the pushpins out
