  1. I had similar issues with my 08 Edge and found it was a certain batch of the vendor's ballasts that were actually bad. I got them replaced and no problems thereafter.
  2. Possible Ballast issue. Did you check with your vendor to see what your replacement options are?
  3. Your best bet would be to go 22" versus 24". Case in point, the 2011-up Edge Sports are on 22s with no ill effects. There is a picture of an Edge on this site with 24s and he did have to do some modifications to get them to fit.
  4. Unfortunately, that is the case with the factory mats. A lot of the people here go aftermarket for the mats.
  5. You are not alone. My wife says the same thing riding in our 2011 Edge. However, in our 2008, I wouldn't be comfy due to the insufficient airflow.
  6. Could we move this thread to the Pacific Coast Forum? http://www.fordedgeforum.com/index.php?/topic/10698-any-forum-memebers-in-bay-area-nor-cal/
  7. To change the color on the Ambient Lighting (2011 and later with MFT): On the lower part of the screen, next to the home button, is settings. Press that. Press Vehicle Press Ambient Lighting and you will see globes to select your colors. Press the globe of your choice and the color is set. (Posted this before seeing it was for a 2010....sorry)
  8. I am looking forward to that component being installed in my Edge. I especially like the ability to tune it via my laptop.
  9. Could you move the PHX meet thread to the Mountain Region forum? Thanks in advance.
  10. To your last statement, the legality has nothing to do with brightness. Most factory HIDs are in the 4000-4200 Kelvin color temperature range which can vary in lumen rating. I went to a 5000k aftermarket setup because it was brighter (3200 lumens vs 2800).
  11. Agreed. Also, they may need to upgrade Gracenote to work better with iPods and BT Audio.
  12. I got mine when I bought my LED puddle lamps.
  13. I believe Kenwood's system is called Maestro. http://www.kenwoodusa.com/Car_Entertainment/eXcelon/Mobile_Video_n_Navigation/DNX9990HD
  14. Nice. Can't wait to get back on the horse with mine.
  15. This is almost as annoying as my "Unknown File/Unknown Artist" that I get on the main screen. What's funny to me is that we have Gracenote in MFT but it's virtually useless because it's not working. However, the title of the song and artist shows up on the right gauge panel.
  16. On my old Edge: I drove from Phoenix (including stops in Tempe and Scottsdale and loaded with 4 people) to Palm Desert, CA on 1 tank (350 miles plus). Reverse trip was 1 tank. Speed was 75-85 mph. Driving to Sedona from Gilbert burned 1/2 to 3/4 of a tank mostly due to going uphill on I-17, AZ's 75 mph speed limit, and the changes in altitude (Sedona is around 4500 ft above sea level). On the current Edge: Haven't taken it on the highway (yet)
  17. Heck, you are just up the road from me.
