  1. There is a shop in Mesa that sells Audison but I am sticking with the shop in Tempe.
  2. The Audison Bit One has the same functionality as the 360.3 but it is $50 more than the Rockford Fosgate 360.3.
  3. Actually, the stealthbox will fit just fine back there. I read the install instructions and, if you have a sub, it's pretty straightforward and easy.
  4. I have the Sony system that has the tweeter on the A pillar.
  5. I am 6'3.5" and 300+. I have no problems on either side of the car.
  6. Yep. Gotta make sure it's done 100% right or I am not doing it.
  7. Still researching but narrowing my choices. I have a couple of other shops to look at but may just stick with Sounds Good to Me due to the fact it's not too far from my job.
  8. NYEdge: I had a first gen Edge with hi/low HIDs in the stock housing. The way I did it was that each had their own separate kit. H11 for the lows and 9005 for the highs. I did switch to a canbus ballast for my highs and had zero problems. For your fogs, have you considered LED foglight bulbs, as found here: http://www.v-leds.com/H11/c515190-1-2/ ? The reason I am suggesting that would be to make it easier for you to deal with. I wish I could help with the vanity mirrors in the first gen Edge as mine did not have them (much to my wife's chagrin).
  9. ....and 24 days later than this thread's origin, they are still out of stock of the 5Ks.
  10. Agreed. You don't want to rock those rims during the rainy season in Chicago. :-)
  11. m00ndude, In your case, you'd be better off going aftermarket. I would suggest a Kenwood, Alpine, or JVC unit. I know that the Kenwoods have the Garmin software built in. Case in point, http://www.kenwoodusa.com/Car_Entertainment/Mobile_Video_n_Navigation/Navigation/DNX7190HD
  12. You will need a module that allows you to use the steering wheel controls in order to control the head unit from the steering wheel.
  13. Mike: Savini is one of those brands that makes the wheels from scratch. From the looks of it, she went with a forged wheel which does look pretty slick on a first gen Edge.
  14. The tire size is 235/65/17. Same as the first gen Edge with those painted rims. The 20s are 245/50/20.
  15. ......or tweeters, 5x7s in front and rear door, 3.5" in center of dash, 3.5"s in D pillar (2), and Subwoofer = 12 speakers according to Ford
  16. Thanks for the info. I am considering the C5 5x7 components and 5x7 coaxes for the rear. As for Rockford, I like the 360.3 because of the ability to equalize each channel with 31 bands. Plus, I can do this either connected via USB or wirelessly via Bluetooth. I was considering their shallow mount 10" sub but after hearing the stealthbox, I decided to go in that direction. Much cleaner bass.
  17. You do have a similar setup like I was considering. How do you like the C5 6.5" vs the 5x7 components?
  18. Just read about the Audison Bit One and it's got nearly the same functionality as the Rockford Fosgate 360.3 that I am looking at for my install.
  19. I am looking at a Stealthbox. However, I have the sub which will not require hacking the stock enclosure. According to the instruction manual for the Stealthbox, there would be some modification of the side panel if you didn't have the sub.
  20. Dingo: I have that already Cdpratt: Let's just say your wife might be at the courthouse getting ready to file the papers.
  21. Got the quote and definitely would need paramedics on standby for the wife. However, this system would sound hundreds of times better than the factory system.
