Try some crome polisher cream, I had a similar problem on my chrome tail pipe and it removed it, i had tried CLR thinking it was rust, that did not work. i bought the stuff at walmart. aT worst you spend 3 bucks and the rest of chrome is shiney.

I own a ford edge 2013 se white v6. I personally prefer the v6 power, i do not like the ecoboost, Handling is a 9/10 comfort 10/10 space 10/10. mpg 5/10 ford lied about gas milage i was supposed to get 19 city the best i can do is 15.5 with everything option tried, meaning i turned of a/c, i coast, no idling.. basically at this point i dont care i will pay more gas but i rather drive the way i want so i average about 14.5 city. overal thoughts, i love my Suv, I sould have gotten leather, i added lots of add ons, which made the car great.. for me i give this car an 93 out of 100.. so far i have driven for 1 year and 3 months and i still love my car, i rather drive and edge than an explorer. However, i would trade it it for the 2015, have you seen the concept car, it is awesome..Put it this way, I have the option of buying a more expensive car but i would not drive another suv other than the edge. The only car i would drive instead is the new corvette.

I like it allot, got it at a discount price from Levittown ford.. its got hooks and 3 round elastic bands that go around the headrest of the seats.. I actually prefer this over the roll up style that I had for a ford escape 2010 I used at work.. install is a breeze...

can you cause damage to your car,if you drive on Sports mode but don't shift manually...basically driving in sports mode as if it where on Drive mode?

well, I added a cold air intake from K&N (sounds Great) $209.00 added DRL lights from Dan $200.00..weather tech matts (best investment) $349.00 for the whole car..Brake caliper covers in red $175.00.. a color match antenna $10.00.... a gasoline tank lock with key 19.00..at levithan ford..they advertise in this forum and they give good prices.. a matching color cover for the truck so they cant see your stuff in the back..$100.00..Changed the lights on the car to bright white leds..$40.00 I bought redline automatic hood pistons.. 85.00 dollars..endless cleaning supplies..Tints on the car... so mostly 3rd party stuff.. but for the car dealer stuff by from leviathan ford dealer they actually give discount compaired to my local dealer in Miami, who are rude and useless..checkout the forum that has a list of mods.. good luck!

what are you guys doing with your old taillights? are you guys keeping them as back up? selling them? or is dan doing sum sort of trade in old taillight discount?

I bought a ford edge SE edition in white beige..my mirror covers are black.. what you do is go to www.levittownfordsupercenter.com and buy the mirror covers primed the are way cheaper than any other dealer both come out to 85 dollars.. then you can paint them yourself or have the dealer paint them, which is what I am trying to find out how much they are charging to paint them... since you posted this in October let me know how it turned out..

buy new, don't buy used.. this will be you car for the next couple of years.. I have had mine for 8 months and I love it! best SUV for the money when you consider it has at the very least if you buy the v6 285 hp all other suv's lack power.. I bought the se edition...and I've added stuff to it, which is the fun part..I've had no issues with the car.. the mpg is a bit less than advertised.. but I would not trade my ford edge for any other suv out there.. I say you buy it know before they eliminate the v6.. the mft has gotten way better..try it out and play with it at the dealer...just haggle till you get the right price with all the stuff you want on it, color,ect... good luck.. when you put the car on sports mode and step on the gas...it does not lag..it goes..try it on the test drive..just tell the salesman.. good luck..

I installed the K&N air filter when the car had 100 miles on it.. did not put any oil on it, (did not know you had to put oil on it..i still think you don't have too. Someone correct me if I am wrong) right away, it produced a different sound, a unique sound.. I live in south florida and it gets hot , so I use the a/c on max.. I am certain that I gained 1 to 2 horsepower but I lost at the very least 1 mpg... I have the SE version fwd and i get max 16 mpg in the city and 18 to 19 hwy... must be the weather and all the drive thru's i go too. I Still love my Edge, even with the low MPG..

Out of the 3 choices...2010 is the best choice.. 2007 is to old, problems will start showing up soon. 2008 has to much mileage.. I would tell you to keep saving...if you insist on buying cash and used, I would advice you to go down from the sel and get a newer se... Like a 2011 to 2013 used se... I love my 2013 se...you can live with out certain features such as leather, sunroof..ect..Good luck..factor in having to do schedule maintance on a 2007,2008 vs 2010 to 2013..

I bought the Hayes version online. So that I can install my door stills that I bought from ebay that light up in blue and say edge..

The price for the fair.. The kit retails between 130.00 to 155.00 and the labor is about right...all though it should only take about 1 hour since they are using existing door locks and most of the wiring, all they added was the light, a shock sensor and the sticker...they should use the existing horn that came with the se.. I bought the 2013 se ...just like you, it was all I could afford at the time, I'm glad because it's more fun adding stuff from scratch, I've added the DRL's from daytime brightlights, weather tech Matt's, gas tank key lock, the trunk lid cover to hid stuff, redline tunning hood lifter, air filter, there is plenty to do to the car, however I am waiting for the 2013 chilton repair book to install a true car alarm because I do not want some installer messing up my wiring as they always do..

Can anyone take a close up of the "u" clip I have a feeling that mine's look different. I will buy a different size flat head screw drivers and try again tomorrow... I bought at harbor freight wire tubing so the heat does not mess with the wires and it looks really nice and clean will take pics tomorrow

For the love of god, those shaped "u" clips won't come off.....I did see the video of how Dan just pulls them off with a punch... But these clips must be on steroids..I have the edge se version so they come with a black fake drl so there is no space between the "u" clips. And the black plastic from the fake drl's.... I'm thinking of putting some grease on the sides of the "u" clips... To remove them......Has anyone had a hard time removing the clips, I pulled super hard but don't want to break the holder.. Any ideas?..

I do, same color too same rims be-careful if you get the caliper covers because they only fit the front tires, the calipers end up scratching the rims because they are 17's, still trying to figure out how to trim them. The rims rock, but they get dirty fast with break dust, I'm still looking for a good product to clean them.

I am assuming that you are asking if the picture is comming from you computer, The picture is not coming from you hard drive, the picture is on the server of cars.com, when cars.com looks at you recent searches that you have made, it tries to find a picture of a car that you might be interested in.

Dingo why did you remove it? Did you not like it because....? I know steeda is the best but they don't have for 2013.. I installed an air filter and removed as it lowered my mpg by 1.

How about the SE option? Do I need anything extra?

My 2 cents; v6 is the better option, you are not going to get 40hp on upgrades, at most you will gain 25 hp..with cold air intake & filter plus exhaust..($$$) you would have get tunes aswell for the upgrades.. Fuel economy difference between v6 and Eco is about 2 mpg.. awd makes a lot of sense since you are in Ohio, which I visited.. the roads can get brutal, unlike Miami.. Regardless, choose what makes you happy!

I have a 2013 ford edge se that came with sync my ford..no navigation small screen 4.5 inches. I want to add a rearview camera, can you see the image on the 4.5 screen? Is it compatible? Does anyone have a rearview camera on the sync my ford? I saw a video that show the rearview camera being displayed on the 4.5 look at 1:18 mark, http://m.youtube.com/#/watch?v=v50Ctq7nLJ0&feature=related. Any suggestions as how to best proceed with buying a rearview camera?
