Thats pretty ingenious. I remember the post where you discussed making them and extending your generosity to share them forum members. Is there any way to make them flush with the bumper?

Odd very odd indeed. Sorry to hear that your package isn't complete. I wasn't aware that you could add things to the 401A package. Sounds like a call to corporate is in order for clarification. My brother does not have rain sensing wipers either. On a diff note I like your bullet casings that you used to fill the holes for the front bumper! I'm digging the twin turbo sticker! Where did you get it from?

My brother's 2015 sport with 401A has adaptive cruise and cooled seats with HID......... According to Ford's website the 401A package includes the safe and smart package which includes adaptive cruise control , lane keeping and bliss.and ventilated seats. I would imagine in Texas you don't need any extra heat roasting your nuts! I don't know if its based on build date. I could ask if anyone is curious.

2013 Edge Limited SMOOTHEST riding tire recommendations in 2018?
onyxbfly replied to enigmakv's topic in Wheels & Tires
Michelin makes great tires. My only issue is after the firs 19-20K miles. Once the soft rubber wears down they are too noisy for me. We got about 43k miles out of them. They would have lasted longer. No issues with wet or dry traction. . My lady likes them and that's what she wanted on the edge when I gave it to her. -
Official Release of V3.0 for SYNC3 Has Begun

The update was finally available for me. Just had to figure out when I wanted to waste gas idling to install it. Luckily for me I had to run the car to get the snow/ ice to melt from the storm earlier in the week. I like the dark interface that it has while driving at night! -
Nothing dumb about it. You were curious and you tried it, nothing more nothing less.....We appreciate your efforts!

No thank you sir. I do love your taste in wheels though. Thanks looking back all of my favorite cars have been in white. Originally I was looking for her in flat white but they seem to be made of unobtanium. My brother has a 2015 in Black!

What have you done to/with your Edge/MKX today?

OUCH! Good thing its covered under warranty. They should have you back on the road within a day or two. -
Getting to know her and her needs and wants and she wants speed how much more does she needs is to be determined. I appreciate y'all blazing the trails, and meeting the demands of enthusiast! Went to get breakfast the other day and I got pulled over... Cop said its a lil early in the morning to be drinking and driving.. I told him I'm just swerving pot holes... We locked eyes for a minor so and just as I was thinking this is going to go left he started laughing and told me to enjoy my day.

I decided that Sirius XM wasn't worth it any more. I use Apple music. That was great in my previous edge. I can not use Apple music with Android Auto. Start a song and plug my phone in and its mute. Unplug the phone and it works the way it was intended. I tried anyautoaudio to no avail. Does anyone have any other solutions/ suggestions? Thanks in advance.

Official Release of V3.0 for SYNC3 Has Begun
onyxbfly replied to jmr061's topic in Audio, Backup, Navigation & SYNC
I'm glad they are doing direct updates via usb. I could not get sync to update with wifi at all. It would start then fail.. Ironically enough the only update that was available was 2.3. Hopefully I'll be able to get 3.0 sooner or later. -

Allow me to reintroduce myself.... Out with the old in with the new....But she's still in the family. My lady now owns my 2013 SEL. I'm the proud new owner (new to me) of a 2017 Sport! (Apologies for the double post. I tried to delete the previous post, but did not see a delete button)

Sorry for your loss. Hope you are OK. CONGRATULATIONS on the upgrade!

Never heard of them, sounds like I'm going to have to check them out..... no pun intended.

Thanks take your time.

I wonder if dynamat or some other sound isolation/ deadening product would help.

Would it be possible to take a video from the inside of the cabin? The other videos sound great. I think I would find the droning annoying after a while? Thanks for sharing the pics and videos!

Welcome. We're sure that she will let you drive it as long as you maintain it for her....

Sometimes the control arm fails but most of the time its the ball joint. Its easier to replace the control arm in its entirety than to replace the ball joint.....after all you have to remove the control arm to get to the ball joint.....

IMHO this may not necessarily be the best time to buy a car with tax return season right around the corner. I agree with Mikula. It makes no sense for a dealership to pay that much for a off lease vehicle at auction. They are making an easy 7-10k+ over what they paid at auction. Check the carfax. Carfax will give you an idea of how long its been sitting at the dealership. Some car listing websites will tell you how long a car has been on a lot as well. If the car has been sitting for so long its a sign that the dealership is not really trying to work with anyone on the price. Or perhaps they did pay extra at the auction. If so then you know they will try to squeeze their profit from your sale.

Disappointed in H&R Springs G2 Edge Sport
onyxbfly replied to Mikula's topic in Brakes, Chassis & Suspension
Not wanting to add more work to the incredible effort that snmjim and special k and nick halstead and xtra gtr (Apologies in advance if I failed to mention to mention others who have contributed.) have provided, perhaps one day a set of coil overs will be developed. -
Any Windshield Wiper Rec's?
onyxbfly replied to chefduane's topic in Glass, Lenses, Lighting, Mirrors, Sunroof (BAMR), Wipers
I use PIAA wiper blades. I clean them every other time i was the car. Cleaning your blades can extend the life of them. I've been going on 3 years with them. So far so good.
