  1. Unfortunately there doesn't seem to be a factory security shade available.
  2. I would suggest talking to the insurance company that paid the bill. If that doesn't make any headway then talk to your insurance company. It might not be to late to have the issue addressed if you have any paperwork that indicates that you mentioned it to them. All is not lost if you do not have a paper trail, your call log should suffice. After all I'm sure you tried to call several times to have this issue resolved. Why else would you call a body shop numerous times after you picked your car up Clearly as you can see (no pun intended) the error message you received indicates that the camera does not work. I doubt that it is a wiring issue especially after you checked the connections etc. Here is where things get interesting..... Some of the cameras on ebay / aftermarket cameras have been reported that the display is upside down. The rear camera for the edge is pricey (I believe its in the $250-$300 area give or take a few bucks.) but it is compatible with other models and ultimately cheaper if you can find the corresponding camera. Once you install the camera you will need to have the guidelines reprogramed./ recalibrated Not sure if it can be done via forscan or if it requires a trip to the dealership. Good Luck! Edit: Here is a link to a forum post that you may find helpful... They even discuss the price and a vendor is linked that has the camera available for $50 bucks! http://www.fordedgeforum.com/topic/23650-backup-camera-replacements-that-work-please-post/
  3. Did you check to see if your edge is covered under the 5 year / 55,000 mile powertrain warranty? If it is then the R&R is free!
  4. Depending on the cars first in service date you might be eligible for the 5 year 55,000 mile power train warranty. You may be able to save it if its not under warranty. I always try to pursue the cheapest alternative first. If it is not under warranty, Ask your wrench to drain it and fill it and drive a few miles and rinse wash repeat. Do not let your wrench use motorcraft fluid. That's part of the problem. Review MACT webinar on PTU fluid. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=L47UXfdNie4
  5. The Rambo modified IC Outlet/Cold pipe is ready for market at $230 a copy. This includes basic powder coat colors & shipment. Place your orders direct to: Ramfab27@gmail.com.
  6. Congrats and welcome to the forum! Make sure to check the PTU ASAP!
  7. Looks great. The tire looks like it belongs on a SUV and not a track car!
  8. Is your sport lowered? Can you snap a couple of pics to see how the tire fills the wheel gap?
  9. Call corporate since your ESP expired last month they may be able to do something for you.
  10. The brand and tire are local to me, but all the info on their website suggest that the tire is a high performance/ summer tire not all season
  11. Unfortunately shes about that scooter or bike life. Don't blame her the weather is generally great! Here is a suggestion. Can you call fed ex or ups and ask for a quote for home pick up shipped to 19134?
  12. We now know if Robin Leech drove an edge these would be his floor liners. All jokes aside there is something kinda sexy about them. I wonder how durable they are. Only $20 more than a front and rear set of weathertech. (coupon available for$199 shipped)
  13. Here is a link for two aFe OEM replacement drop in filters for the 2015-2018 Edge Sport. https://afepower.com/products/induction/air-filters?afe_type=141&engine=V6-2.7L&make=Ford&model=Edge&year=2017-2017 There is also Green Filter USA. I have great results in the past with them on my previous edge. Credit due to @dark sport for info on the 2011-2014 edge. Green Filter USA, 100% cotton, cleanable/reoilable filters use deeper air filter pleats than other filters with a pleated design, creating 20% more filtration surface. Plus other important benefits over stock, K&N, & others. Green Filter USA stock replacement filter for 2015-2018 Edge - #7287 https://www.greenfilterusa.com/store/7287 https://youtu.be/cY7fSPvI8bY @Special_K The link for the Bullit transmission that you provided states that the transmission listed is for 2006-2012 transmission. In fact when double checking the year with their drop down menu it will only allow you to choose from 2006-2014. I believe this link is correct for our edges. The drop down menu goes up to 2015. https://spprecision.com/products/6f35-transmission-sale.html Y'all guys are true trail blazers, keep up the great work!
  14. Forgive me, I may be wrong with this one. I believe that I read at one point that the ST suspension was supposed to be similar if not the same as the Nautilus. The ST is/ supposed to have adjustable suspension settings. Of course I can't find anything to substantiate that info now
  15. Its easy to add remote start to your 2013. Buy the antennae (DA8Z-19G364-A) and attach it to the module I behind the plastic interior cover for the left quarter panel. I think its the TPMS. Its been a few years. You also need the hood pin switch (BT4Z-19G366-A). All in all it should take you all of 15 minor less to install everything. Don't worry about not being able to get full access to behind the plastic interior. Once you remove part of it you should see the module, just mount the antennae. Once you get your new keys go to the dealer and have them program it for remote start.. They should cut your keys as a courtesy (mine did). The price for programing should be .5hr of labor. You will need the 5 button key. I don't think I'm missing any steps. If you search this forum and look for the user name Candurin you will see that he has helped dozens of users including me.
  16. Its good because a child or teen may not have an unlimited data plan. With the wifi hot spot you everyone can have access on a road trip. I know a lot of parents that regulate their kids data access. Just playing the devils advocate. I find it ironic that my brothers 2015 sport has the wifi hot spot built in. If someone one wanted to have cellular remote access it would cost between $250-$300 for the kit and $50/ year. Comes out to around $4 bucks a month. $12/ month is $144/ year! Thats ridiculous. Especially when most phones allow you to utilize the phone as a hotspot. One of the draws is that It allows you to remote start your car via cell phone. It's convenient because you may want to start your car while you are at work and have it cool down or warm up while you are away from your car. Your car will reach temp your desired temp by the time you get to the car.
  17. Problems happen every day in all walks of life....its how one reacts to them that defines us. Ford will publicize the hell out of something and then become Hellen Keller leaving the unsuspected masses to guess when something will or will not ever materialize..... And its also built into most of the "new" 2018 line up.... new meaning new model i.e. 2018 escape. New Vehicle new wiring etc.... 2018 edge not so much Its almost as if Ford gauged our interest and said hhmm if we add that into new vehicles they will sell more.....and on the flip side the more current we make older vehicles people will have less reason to buy new vehicles. We all know that Ford wants to move as many new units as possible.
  18. You can find keys online. The price will vary if you have remote start and auto lift gate. You can get them programed at the dealer when they cut them for you. IKTs, IAs, Fobs (I know they are not Ford OEM numbers, but they work with google ). As per Candurin 164-R8070 (IKT: three buttons; lock, unlock, panic) 164-R8073 (IKT: four buttons; lock, unlock, trunk release, panic) 164-R8067 (IKT: four buttons; lock, unlock, remote start, panic) 164-R8000 (IKT: five button; lock, unlock, remote start, trunk/liftgate, panic) The 5 digit door code can be found on the back of your fuse box lid. Personally I wouldn't bother using the an updated nav sd card. You are better off using whatever nav app you prefer on your cell. But in case you want peace of mind or find yourself in a area with poor reception. Here you go: https://www.ebay.com/itm/A8-2018-MAP-UPDATE-Navigation-SD-CARD-SYNC-FITS-ALL-FORD-LINCOLN-UPDATES-A7/282566711273?hash=item41ca49d7e9:g:tTwAAOSwke9Z8HoW Hope this helps.
  19. 6000k will match the headlights with the DRLs. I've had them since 2015 in my previous edge. My lady currently enjoys them. Admittedly I neglected to adjust my headlights before doing the install. You might be fine with adjusting the headlights. If not The drivebright lights will sort you out.
  20. Only if its something that the dealer can install.... weather mats.... cargo cover.... Cold weather package I.E heated steering wheel not so much.....
