  1. My order must be lagging for some reason as mine still shows Order Processing (confirmed by Tricia). I placed it the 21 Oct 2015 and it has a priority of 10. I was hoping to be in the first order group, but that may not be the case. Best of luck to everyone getting theirs early next year.
  2. Good Morning knickerbocker, Do you recall when you placed your order and what the order priority was? Thanks,

  4. Mine were listed at 37psi, checked this morning.... Interesting articles: http://www.crashforensics.com/tirefailures.cfm http://www.aa1car.com/library/tirefail.htm http://www.popularmechanics.com/cars/how-to/a9399/why-blowouts-happen-and-how-to-avoid-them-15832078/
  5. Max tire pressure is 51psi. Yes, the tire pressure is printed in the door jamb area. You could be right about the 37 as I cannot recall exact pressures realized at the time. The issue was under inflation though and one of the main reasons for the tire failures I had... Best of luck to the poster with their tire and rim issue...
  6. I have numerous dealers in the area I live that get greater numbers of certain vehicles over others. My guess is it is based on what they sell the most of and keeps the lot from sitting full of cars they can't / don't sell. The specific dealer I deal with gets the most F150's in the area as they are closer to a rural setting, however they were still able to order my Edge even though they would not typically sell much of that vehicle. In my case, this aligns with what akirby stated above based on priority.
  7. That's terrible. I had issues with my Fusion Titanium with the 19's, but after changing the same tire twice I figured out that the dealer was under inflating the tires. I can't recall, but I think the pressure is supposed to be 43psi and they were inflating my tires to 32psi. You may want to check and make sure they are properly inflated. I ordered my Edge Sport with the 21's and I hope I don't have issues, but with Indiana roads I will have to be super lucky...
  8. I have never had an issue getting loaners, however I think that is whats happens when you buy numerous cars from the same dealer and use them for all of your service work. I think they should realize that if they ask to keep your car for more than 4hrs they should offer a loaner. Most people don't have back up cars or the time to sit and wait.
  9. Sorry for your bad luck. Do you know the root cause for the failure?
  10. I ordered mine with the 21" in Electric Spice....Should look good...
  11. Are the panoramic roofs similar on all of Fords vehicles? We have the pano on our F150KR and we absolutely love it. No problems to this point and one of the reasons I ordered it on my Edge. I swore I would never order another sunroof until we bought our F150KR and that changed my mind completely....
  12. Agree.... Now the one thing I recall them praising the MKX about was the Revel sound system. I think one of the guys, who tested, said it was one of the best systems he had ever heard in an automobile.... I actually looked at the MKX and thought I might get one. After looking at it in person I thought the styling was too bland for my taste.
  13. I remember reading all about that testing and who won the SUV of the year and came away from it feeling less than satisfied. Not because I was wanting the Edge to do well, but that Ford in general has been dogged so much by Sync 2. If that is the worse thing you have to say then I'm not sure that should count for that much. I have enjoyed Sync 2 for the most part. Can it be better, absolutely, but it is not the dog they make it out to be... Does the magazine go more into the reviews and testing than the youtube videos? If so I may have to buy the Mag...
  14. Go with what looks best to you as ride and price will not be that different. I have had numerous vehicles with varying tires of 19"-22" size and ride quality did not differ much and prices were all expensive...Just part of having this size of rim and tire... Best of luck with your choice...
  15. Thanks...will do as soon as I can find a Ford Rep...
  16. cab2g, How did you go about getting your VIN? And once you have it, what do you do to track the build? thanks,
  17. There are some people who want a 2016, so the wait is necessary...
  18. Sounds like this will add up to February or March for all of us who have ordered 2016's...Yuk!!!
  19. Does anyone know if the the 2016 builds started today? Would be nice to know when they start and to understand how things progress...My dealership called and checked on things last Friday and they were told everything was still on schedule.
  20. Ordered 2016 sport in electric spice loaded...
  21. I was not aware of the Fusion issue. I was able to get my 13 Fusion in ~Oct-Nov 2012 and it has been trouble free since. I hope I did not curse myself with that, but it is the truth...
  22. My guess would be that only hand built cars would exceed those numbers. Like all big businesses with extensive quality systems; they probably use the AQL method with a defined defect rate. My guess would be .4-.6%, meaning that the whole population will be 99.4-99.6% free of all critical / major defects. Additionally, within the system they rate minor, minor 2, and acceptable imperfections (AI). So the idea is you would evaluate against 0 critical / major defects, X minor / minor 2 defects, and XX AI defects realizing that the potential exists for .4-.6% critical / major defects. There is a lot of math going on to figure this all out, but it works. One thing I did not state is that you must have a representative population to make all of the math work too. I will not get into that, but suffice to say they make enough vehicles that the population portion is not a problem.
  23. Agree, the odds are very very low. Anybody on this forum with the illusion that there will be no problems needs to realize that perfection is impossible. The key here will be that they ensure no critical or major defects are passed along to the customer and that is why they are being so cautious. I can appreciate that...
  24. The cooled seat issue will probably be something similar to what the F150 owners see. We have a 2015 F150 KR and have had no issues with our cooled seats. My guess is that this issue is not applicable to all of them built. Ford is doing the right thing by trying to get them working right for those that do have issues. If I had issues with an option that did not work correctly I would expect them to correct it. So I would not blame anyone for wanting something to work correctly. With that said I would not be nit picky about every single thing I would notice. There is no such thing as perfect and to expect that would be unjustified....
