Where do I get the CSR number?

FYI, I received a message from my dealer today and there is no change in my status; still not scheduled for build. They said it is possible that my paint color could be the reason for the delay, otherwise they are not sure. They do have others coming their way, but not what I want in the color I want. I will keep everyone posted...

My Fusion works just fine at keeping the windshield defrosted in Auto. I hope the Edge does as well. My main reason for buying the Edge is for the Fusion like ride and feel with the large cabin area. This whole deal could get more and more disappointing...

Not likely the Focus ST outperforms the Fusion Sport....Focus RS will probably be a different story... My Steeda tuned Fusion will walk a Focus ST all day. I'm sure the 2.7 will be much stronger. By the way, despite my frustrations with ordering, I will probably own many more Fords in my lifetime. I have pretty happy through the years with what I have had.

I just wish the whole ordering process was based on first come first serve irregardless of dealers. The only reason I have waited this long is due to the service I have received from my dealer. They have been great to me and probably in this instance have no control over my order and it's timing. When I bought my 2013 Fusion, I ordered it ~3-5 months before the release date. I was the first person in the Indianapolis area to receive one. My guess is that that particular dealership has ordering priority. That dealer already shows ~12 Edges coming, however I will no longer do business with them due to their poor after purchase practices... Anyway, we have about 2 weeks before we will have to try another approach because my patience is waning. Take care everyone...

I too feel frustrated at the ordering process / timing of receiving my order, but realize it is what it is. I ordered Oct 22, 2015 and mine is not even scheduled for build yet; at least that is what my dealer has told me. I never waited long for cars when I lived in LA and Chicago, but my guess would be it was due to dealer buying / selling capability. I will probably give my dealer another 2 weeks or so concerning build with a delivery date. If I do not hear anything by then I will probably walk. Glad to hear others are receiving their orders...

Congrats on getting your ride...

Not sure about how they would be on an Edge, but the LED lights on the F150 are great. I wrote about this in some other post, but those lights are nearly as good as the adaptive headlights I had on my BMW 7 series...

I have always liked sun roofs until I purchased my 2013 Fusion with one. It is so small and useless. Now that I purchased an F150 with the pano, I love it. It allows so much light to enter and gives you the impression things are much more open. Main reason I order my edge with the pano...

Migh It might be faster to get your dealer to do a search to find what you want versus ordering...At least worth checking...

Not sure if this matters now, but I ordered a similarly equipped vehicle with X-Plan pricing and my printout stated 46,600 (see my signature for details on equipment). Mind you this was back in October. I just checked X-plan and it is 46,621. Not sure about any other rebates or discounts...I have received a few $750 coupons / cards and not sure they apply or not...

I used to think HID were better, but now that we have LED on our F150, I might change my stance. Those lights are nice. Very bright, providing great visibility at night. I would even venture to say that they are better than the adaptive HID headlights that were on my 2008 BMW 750Li. And those were outstanding...

My dealer looked it up and Tricia from Ford Service looked it up; the the information is correct. They probably don't have too many priority 10's, but maybe they don't get a big allotment and that is the problem. My dealership mainly sells trucks and SUV's so I would think they get some sort of allotment, but not sure how much. All I know is that I placed my order on the 21Oct2015, priority set at 10, and I wrote a check for money down to hold the order. I guess all I can do is play the waiting game. Does feel a bit disheartening to know that I placed my order earlier than some others and will wait longer. Such is life, right!!! davidcedar, My order is for a 2016 as stated in my signature...

If I recall correctly, the Motor Trend SUV of the year information talked about how well the Edge did in off road situations. Also, there was mention of it from TFLcar where Roman talks about how the Edge feels like the new "WRX"...Kinda Funny actually, but informative.

I'm not sure how Ford's ordering works. My order was placed, as confirmed by my paperwork,on 21 October 2015 with a priority of 10. I still don't have a VIN or build timing set yet. There must be more to all of it than the date you order and the priority.

Also, many out there that do work correctly. There will be no knee taking...

Nice Job. I wish they would give an option of getting higher end audio in the Ford vehicles like they do in the Lincolns. I heard the Revel System in the MKX was awesome. On a side note, I added some bass to my 13 Fusion that will be removed and reinstalled in the Edge when I get it. JL Audio shallow mount 12", JL amp with bass control knob and wiring harness. Makes the Fusion sound way better with more authority. If I get a chance I will post a picture. The sub looks similar to what you have. Again very nicely done!!!
