  1. well, the emblem it self is actually kind of on the heavy side, I think you can run it over with the car and it will be fine. As far as adhesive, I'm not sure how that's going to last after awhile, I can tell you but the tape wasn't 100% straight so one of the edges isn't actually properly held together and just hangs in the air... Apart from that, I think it will stick.
  2. can ship them if necessary, probably in the range of $100-$200 depending on location
  3. Got some Chinese made H15 bulbs and they are direct fit except never produced any light. I put stock bulbs in and also 0 light, worked fine prior. Any ideas what fuse DRL are on? Went through the manual couple times and its not obvious.
  4. SS brakes lines are now installed on the front, definitely feel some difference and more linear pedal travel, will add some miles and come back, was raining a lot today so I was hitting every deep puddle I could find...will grow up eventually
  5. Spent a little more time with DRL led lights and they simply don't work. Reinstalled factory bulbs and got nothing as well. I am thinking it has to be a fuse but looking at the car manual its not obvious which one, went through it twice. Anyone got an idea which it is?
  6. You are also missing the brake light bar and the Ford symbol, curious about that
  7. By reading reviews on tirerack it seemed the winter scorpions should.handle no worse than all seasons. Will see if I can sell the A/S so I can get the pilots. Will see if SS lines help
  8. And a warning to those getting a tune, the acceleration of the vehicle well outspaces the braking ability...almost found out the hard way when I accelerated to prevent someone from cutting in and then to suddenly slow down and had a panic moment... Be safe.
  9. In other news, I spent a good hour playing with the H15 DRL lights, couldn't get the power adapter to fit after light was installed, the moment of truth came when I realized I had a chicken/egg problem and the power adapter has to go first...was a snap after this. Haven't seen the lights on yet since the install as it got dark but I have a suspicion they don't work at all or are terribly dim. Next check is on Tuesday when I get my front brake lines installed.
  10. Got my first race signal today from a guy with a Challenger with an exhaust, he used one finger to express himself on the second attempt as on the first try I didn't let em pass. The wife said no...I was looking forward to explaining the quiet nature of the Edge while giving him a whooping.
  11. I am going to replace it with a twin turbo badge, pretty sure its just tape
  12. This may seem crazy but find a friend with a windows PC, you need less than an hour. Or I can sell you a laptop, whatevs :-)
  13. While you wait for that I am spinning my 265s :-)
  14. Its just going to be a small badge, similar to ecoboost except I'm going to take that thing off. I finally tried revving the engine and launching today. I did it before and it felt weird, now I know to turn traction control off!! Wow...what a jump and it was just 2k rpm, none of that hesitation crap you would normally get, I am totally embracing this and hope tranny doesn't blow up cause come summer I am totally using Michelin super sports and going to launch it as far as the tires can hold!
  15. As far as BBK I was wondering if the explorer Sport brakes might be a direct fit...would be cheaper than Brembo.
  16. Car has barely 700 miles on it and I'm not too good at launching it yet, clearly. Either way, that race had the same outcome, 100 less hp and 400lb extra a race don't win. I do have some twin turbo badging coming up and a boosted license plate frame, should add another 20hp I think
  17. Let me know how yours work for you, may consider it if there is something to gain. I feel the engine will last the term of my lease.
  18. no thermostat for me or any plans to install it. The power is there, the stopping power, not really. It's not a race car so anything beyond a tune is really unnecessary, but you still gotta be able to stop it. Stock brakes should be sufficient but the pedal travel/amount seems completely off vs how much stopping power is needed, will see what the lines can do for me.
  19. another item in the mail, hope this does the trick: StopTech (950.61009) Brake Line Kit, Stainless Steel
  20. I went the same route except through a Chinese seller on eBay so my stuff is still in transit. I went with what they labeled a 100w product as the one on amazon is just 50w which I thought would be too dim. Will post photos once I get them, bought 2 sets. One cost me $14 and one $24, curious if they are the same brightness... Thanks for the photos OP!
