  1. Wizard, I will not be dealing with vanterec2015 as their bulbs did not work so I just got a refund. I am dealing with another chinese vendor who sent me the same exact design for $10 cheaper but...they never arrived! the seller is desperate to send me another set but I'm not desperate to wait another 3 weeks for it so I ordered a different design, see photo above. If the 2nd seller still sends me the 2nd set they would be the same design as vanterec2015 so I will put them side by side to see the difference. I am also curious as the new, shipped from US set, set me back $34 as the prior chinese shipped set is just over $10, for a pair.
  2. Haven't bought anything else yet...but there are 3500lm bulbs from opt7 on amazon that do not come with a box, had them side by side next to HID and could not tell the difference in color or brightness through projectors of a Venza. Will update once I pick something.
  3. SS lines are great, no more pedal travel that doesn't do anything. Just linear braking, took all the guess work out of it. Brake fluid can be had on amazon for $12 bux, make sure it's DOT4 LV not regular 4. This is only the front kit but it made all the difference!
  4. Ordered MPG Black matte brake covers with Sport on them, photos once they are on.
  5. Another laser hit except this time I was going quite slow. Got the laser ID this time: Stalker.
  6. http://www.ebay.com/itm/FORD-EDGE-Grille-upper-SE-2015-2016-/231858335429?hash=item35fbd56ec5:g:-B4AAOSwDuJW0NSG&vxp=mtr one on ebay, a little pricey...
  7. My 15 has a plastic thingy resembling a splash guard on the rear, none on the front though...
  8. Car looks great in white especially with 21s, congrats!
  9. My SS picked up almost 20 rwhp after CAI was added to an already tuned vehicle. So...some do work. The last time I used a short ram I think I lost 20 lol
  10. I didn't twist the connector, just pulled it down and it came right off...and then I was screwed for a long long time
  11. he's got a 2011 so no boost there. n/a engine tuning can still provide performance improvement but obviously nowhere near what it does for ecoboost. and yes, LMS is in Michigan, drove there personally to confirm
  12. Wizard, I put the 100w in quotes, as in I am aware it's not 100w led power. The bulbs I ordered were quoted as 1800 lumens, I just wanted to make sure I did not end up with less light. I did consider stupid bright 5000 lumen ones but the way they are aimed I would be blinding people in the day time. For future reference, I am not an ignorant buyer and have done my research, I can tell a difference between a claim and actual expected performance which is why I ordered from two different sellers, one already gave me my money back and let me keep bulbs that don't work and a second who promised to send me a free 2nd set of bulbs since I didn't get the first set ordered a month ago... I'm sure eventually I will buy something local
  13. Manny, the key with the H15 bulbs is to reach in and turn bulb counter clock wise and leave the plastic electric thing in place. Driver side takes about 12 seconds. Passenger side you want to do before the car is hot as the coolant hose has metal pieces that will burn you. The bulbs are behind a rubber round thing that you just pull off. Or you can do it like I did by pushing power plastic thing down and then cursing for the next hour as it is impossible to put it back with the bulb already plugged in.
  14. The manual is definitely a good place to start, especially if you didn't pick out the equipment you want on your new car. Head over to Ford.com to go over features and then get your details from this manual. https://www.google.com/url?sa=t&source=web&rct=j&url=http://www.fordservicecontent.com/Ford_Content/Catalog/owner_information/2015-Edge-Owners-Manual-version-1_om_EN-US_12_2014.pdf&ved=0ahUKEwi1-PjSrYzLAhVLqB4KHWBZDAMQFggvMAM&usg=AFQjCNEj1tlYNmL1ZwoR6yaIay9WhVLKGA&sig2=THsxo5vbo4RIKys11qZ7iw
  15. Never had a problem with eBay Chinese sourced LEDs until I got the 2 bulbs that don't work, I suspect the car is not giving them enough power as they are supposed to be "100w" Will see if my mechanic can test them in the shop. Otherwise, I see no reason paying $50 for a set of dim, stock brightness LED when for $100 I can get HID brightness from quality OPT7 leds
  16. You can try tobmeasurebstock and getba refill blade onlynbased on size? I like PIAA silicone.
  17. Yep, one and the same! I guess a modded red RL is pretty memorable. Which DRL led did you go with? Got photos?
  18. Since the re-org of the 2015+ threads into all sorts of random areas, there is no common place for 2015+ owners to meet and talk random. I am hoping this thread could be it as otherwise it's a huge world out there and 2015+ are the minority so there is no way to zero in on your exact problem, your exact question, or even people with the exact car.
  19. well, these "cheap" bulbs were $25 which I already got refunded and get to keep the bulbs. Soon I hope I get my $13 cheap bulbs from China direct, will see how they hold up. As far as your iJDMTOY, who said they aren't chinese? Says made in Japan on yours?
  20. sorry for the lack of details...but I got a spare, jack, trunk net. This was from a 15' Sport with 21's and 401a/Pano I did not dig in to see if anything else was included but the spare was ...ugly
  21. well...the above post is scary. I guess I was expecting an easier solution, like "hey, go check fuse #" but instead, the solution was "Hey, drop it in drive and apply electronic brake" So...with e brake on, factory lights ARE working, LED lights are NOT. I have a second set of similar LEDs coming in, if those don't work as well....I'll be very very annoyed. So for now, I have not managed to destroy the car which is probably a good start as I am almost at 1k line. moral of the story: put it in drive and then complain if DRL does not work.
  22. A small update on the Stainless Steel brake lines, I think they are awesome! The brake feel is much better and I don't have the spongy feeling anymore when I try to slow down at low speeds, it's progressive and I feel like I can control how quickly I decelerate better. Before, going from 5-0 resulted in fairly random brake force applied and heads tossed and then I would wonder if the car would stop where I am trying to get it to stop not before or after. Since there isn't much I can do for braking I am thinking of adding brake covers, my last car had real Brembo's up front and this car...well, it's got some ugly attachment that helps me stop but looks terrible... I decided I want to go with a black cover or something resembling carbon fiber...the wheels are dark 21's so I don't think red or yellow is going to be such a great idea. If I go with black I can do front and rear, CF so far I only found the fronts. I have not measured the brakes yet so I don't know if they will fit and then I'd have to wait like a month for them to get here from China, or I can order Black and get em in a week....sample CF photo attached.
