The update is available if you go into your sync account and go to community at the top and you can scroll down and will find the file to download. Download the file and follow the directions.

The one i preformed yesterday fixed my sirius problem whan you say a station and it sends you to a different one due to them changing when the combined sirus with xm.

2011 edge limited all options except headrest dvd. Love the vehicle and My Ford Touch. Bought with 2.7 and upgraded to 2.8 3 weeks ago. Have had very few problems. Im Not experiencing many of the problems mentioned in the forum. Yes i use it every day like a toy. I would buy again without a secound thought.

I totally agree with you i have no real complaints. Have had car for 6 weeks and only thing i have had done is sync 2.8 installed. There are deffenitly to many good things to list

Sorry i do have that issue. I guess im just slow getting in the car and starting it. Mine did do the same thing this morning when i tested it. I feel stupid and i stand corrected.

My 2011 limited does not do that with the tail gate. I am always throwing things in the back and then jumping in the car and hitting the start button. The tailgate has always contnued to close. Are you sure you are not doing something else like putting it in gear?

Get the 302 package its the best bang for your buck. I like my inget siver with the 302 package I picked mine up on march 25th. This is the secound silver one i ordered. I have the tow package on mine it is a bargen for what you get. While you can ad a hitch if you ever have any kind of problems with trans,cooling,electrical etc there is a good chance that ford could deny the claim because the hitch is an ad on. In the olden days you could put a hitch on almost anything. I know this because a dealer had to replace my first 2008 edge with one with a hitch because there ford rep said i should not be towing without the proper tow package.

Be glad you didnt get 22 inch. Tires are low profile expensive and many complaints about how easy it is to damage the rims. Also the ride is ok but still bumpy and rough. Sport was not even a consideration for me.

I had to order mine special to get the 18 inch wheels. The ride is much better vs the 20 inch. Traded in a 2008 edge for a 2011 and had the 18 inch on the 2008 and really likek them. Also i will like them when they have to be replaced. they are much less expensive. Also less chance of messsing up rims with the 18 inch. Hope this helps as it is my opinion and others will probobly disagree.

I have tested many sizes and found that the following work in my 2011 edge limited. All 3 sizes fill up the screen other sizes i tried worked but only filled up half of the screen. hope this helps. I used roxio creater to change size of pictures. 750 x 360 650 x 400 700 x 400

I just upgraded my phone from att. I also was concerned about the fhone working since they now charge a $35 restocking fee to switch phones. I picked out a Pantech ease P2020. Manager took the phone off the display and we synced it to my new 2011 edge and also downloaded the phone book and made calls. Phone worked fine except for text messaging which i have been told only workes on a few phones. All other car and phone functions work great. I would ask your carrier to do the same. I purchased one of these for me and one for wife. Hope this helps.

You can turn it off under settings on the left side of the dash many more options over there

Your mac may have its own program that will do the same thing all it is is video editing software. try to google it im sure there are free programs available

According to the brochure this feature is only on the limited model. If you had this feature there would be buttons either on the door that would be listed as 1 & 2 or on the dash.

I ordered mine on 2/22/2011 and it was delivered to dealer on 3/24/2011. I picked it up on 3/25/3011. Owner is a friend and he put a rush on it. Color was silver with 302 package I wanted everything including trailer hitch no dvd or 20 inch tires. So you can see it is possible. Put 200 miles on it on3/26/2011 and loved it. Used MFT and sync quite a lot and had no real problems.

All its telling you when full if you drive conservitivily you might get that many mile. If you drive all city with a heavy foot you will not get that many miles. That figure changes continually based on your driving. If whan the car says that you have 50 miles to empty you take it out on the highway and set the cruse at 55 you will see that you will get more than 50 miles. In reverse if you do all stop and go with a heavy foot you will get less than 50 miles.On mo 08 edge i was getting around 300 miles per tank mostly city driving. this was driving with no jack rabbit starts.

Good looking vehicle i just wish they would put the license plate bracket lower so it would not cover up the chrome

Remember the filter is overpriced from ford. You can get them online or from a local parts store at half the price. My dealer in al wanted $24 Plus $14 to put in. If you search the forums you can find detailed instructions on how to get to the part behind the glove box.

I have a 2008 limited and my dealer told me the same thing but i new better and had them check and sure enough it was there and dirty. Its located behind the glove box. Takes them 5 minutes to check. to the best of my knowledge only the limited have them
