I can assure you I am hardly a whiner. Just comparing it to my last vehicle. It is just about the only thing I mention as a con on this crossover....I love mine more than any other vehicle I have owned.

Robert, I had a Mazda Tribute (same as the Escape) prior to the Edge. It's lift gate, which also had the option to just open the window portion, was way easier to lift. I think part of the problem is there is no real place to grasp. There is no real hand hold....just the button and the ledge.

Agreed, 18" wheels should be higher quality. Overall though, whats your impression of the Edge? I like that sage color...very refined looking.

Very cool! Don't see many brown and white dalmations (I am a firefighter of 18 years....I have seen alot of firedogs, lol) He is a beautiful dog. Since we are showing off our canines....here is Roscoe. He is my old (nearly 13) rescue hound. He's doozing in the sunshine. And my spoiled rotten "baby"...... her name is Mabel.

Robert, bassets rock! I have three......only because my hubby would stroke out if we had four! Was just in NJ this weekend for a basset fund raiser (called a Waddle) where there were around 300 bassets walking down the board walk! What a hoot!!

I've done it but I can't remember exactly how I got there but I do remember that an "edit" button was listed on the right hand side. I'll check next time I get in my vehicle.
