My dad called me at lunch and asked "IF" my car was in because he saw a blazing coper SEL w/ White plastic all over it. Well, got a hold of my rep and she went out there and low and behold it was my SEL which still shows STORAGE within the dealer network. Will stop there tonight but I'll probably pick it up tomorrow. I wish I knew when my SE would be delivered so I can see that one in person. That one still said STORAGE within the FORD NETWORK last week so is there any chance someone can check the vin number on my SE by tonight? 2FMDK36C37BA28779 If it will be here by Friday I would love to hold out due to the fact that it's slightly cheaper. I think it should of been white. Creme Brule IMHO looks like a Lincoln color and I personally don't like it. But then again, you might think the Blazing Copper sucks and that is what I ordered. I just think the darker colors look better Good luck.

You'll probably get yours before I get mine that was already built in November. Did they search the dealers to see what is available? Also, what did you order?

Just curious. Is this information "ONLY" available from within the network? Because my dealer is still showing both of them "In Storage". They and I both hope that the SEL is on its way. I'm just wondering why their system isn't updated. Thanks again. Bill

That would be great if the second one comes in because that's the SEL and I'm pretty sure that I'll be taking that... But, I am hoping the SE shows up by next week as well because I really want to know the difference between the models when I get up close and personal. The SEL is about $7.00 more than my explorer the SE is about $20 less. I know the seats up upgraded cloth on the SEL and the Mirrors, Spoiler and door handles are painted on the SEL and then I believe they have many other extras. Just not sure if I need these extras but I will decide when I see it. Thanks for the heads up. If you don't mind could you check on the 2FMDK36C37BA28779 again around Tuesday? Roy O' Brian in St. Clair Shores, Michigan has a Black SE and a blazing copper SEL in the front. However, my Blazing Copper SEL is nowhere to be scene... DOH... Too bad the SEL they had has about $3000+ options more than what I ordered. Blazing Copper is really really beautiful.

How many threads are you going to post that question? My Edge is built and Ford has been saying "IN STORAGE" for over 4 weeks which is getting old. First thing you need to do is contact your saleman and tell him to search for your car. It will tell them "WHEN" it was built or "WHEN" it is scheduled to be built. I know mine is built but now I'm trying to figure out WHEN THE HECK THEY ARE GOING TO UNBURY IT so I can have it.

I have two vin numbers of vehicles that have been built but are MIA. Can someone check the status of them for me?

B/S. Tell him that YOU WERE SUPPOSE TO GET YOUR CAR IN NOVEMBER AND IT IS THE END OF DECEMBER. Tell them that you DEMAND YOUR DEPOSIT BACK or you will take them to small claims court, call the local news and call the BBB. Besides, they screwed you. My dealer only wanted $100 deposit to order my Edge SE. In fact, they ordered me an SEL almost the same w/ my name on it as well. If I called them tomorrow and told them to keep it they would mail me my deposit back immediately because they will be able to sell my car without a problem. Now with that note. I ordered mine in August (I think) and a week before I placed my order my sales person took an order for an SEL w/ leather and a Vista Roof. Well, my orders were delayed to be built and moved for the week of Thanksgiving Delivery. Her's was moved until late december / early january and she wasn't too happy. Well guess what came in today before mine? Her customers SEL w/ Vista Roof which was ordered before mine. So, if you really want it and they are giving it to you for what it should be sold for just wait a little longer because the Vista Roofs are already shipping. Good luck. Bill

I really don't care for blue personally but I agree why would you offer it in creme but not blue. Creme is way too Lincoln IMHO.

Yes, I have one SE retail order and they ordered an SEL in my name as well (They will just put the one I don't want on the lot). I have two vin numbers and they have both been built (I believe the 2nd and 3rd week in November). So, is there any reason to order another one? Thanks! Bill

All I want to know "is the front suspension problem fixed?" and "is the rear suspension fixed". I realize it's a brand new vehicle but I wouldn't want this kind of problem at 70 MPH on the freeway. These seem like major problems but most likely this was the cause of the delay?

Roy O'Brian Ford, St. Clair Shores, Michigan has a Edge SE in Creme Brulee. All I have to say is that it's beautiful and if I end up with an SE over the SEL I will be happy. However, that color IMHO sucks. Too Lincoln and should of not been offered on the Ford Edge. That color doesn't do it justice. However, I wasn't too impressed w/ the material they used on the seats and neither did my wife so we will most likely take the SEL because of the upgraded material. I'm getting kind of excited however I just made my car payment so most likely I will not want it until the end of the month or the first week of January when my next payment is due. :hyper: Bill

Where are you located? I got a call from my sales rep yesterday to say "we just got a SE in. However, it's a stock car". She just wanted to let me know that they are starting to arrive. Too bad the stock job wasn't Blazing Copper or I would of taken it. Hopefully mine shows up fairly quickly. Bill
