If you are old enough you would be aware of the overhead oiling issues on the Ford Y blocks in the 50's. They came in 5 displacements and all had issues getting oil to the overhead valve heads. There were external kits to plumb oil to the rocker shafts. 1-239 2-256 3-272 4-292 5-312

Thanks guys, it is good to know that I am not crazy! Getting my DW trained on all the features is going to be an on going thing. It is easy to bump the rear wiper button on the wiper control, which is a confusing control to use anyway. Push it forward to wash rear window and pull it back to wash front window. Etc Etc. I lost the lane keeping in the left display and played with settings to no avail until I found the switch on the end of the turn signal stock and got bumped. Progress is being made, however we are dealing with insurance companies on Buick and yesterday I took DW back to the ER because on a new pain, turns out she has a cracked rib. The DW got t-bone in the front fender and wheel, it was really lucky that it was not in the drivers door, as the injuries would have been a lot worst. The impact spun the car around, if the red light runner had hit the door, the impact would have been greater.

There is no Navigation showing up as a selection in the right hand display. Just Phone and Entertainment

I think that is for vehicles with OEM Navigation. Smart phone / google maps does not have a Navigation selelction in the right display, just phone and entertainment.

So Friday we did a road trip and another today. 256 Miles and 10.939 gals or 23.4 MPG hand calculated and 22.8 on the lie-o-meter. Not bad given I was driving a little aggressive. ?

So the new 2020 Edge ST has Sync ver 3.4. The turn by turn instructions show up on the left side on the Nav screen. I find no way to select them on the right hand cluster display.

For the price I am pretty happy with the Pixel 3a. I when I found my lost Pixel it had tire track from the tires I had just install on our North golf cart, and the screen was distroyed. The replacement Pixel would not charge, so they sent me the Pixel 2. Lately is was missing calls and slow to dial. After a lot of looking, I bought the Pixel 3a. Chris

We have arrived at the way point, so to speak. The phones are both on android 10, these are a Pixel(hers) and a Pixel 3A that I got Thursday as an upgrade to my aging Pixel 2. I use and do a lot more with my phone.

With it laying flat on top of the dash so GPS has good reception it got really warm and DW did not like cable coming down over the center stack. In the holder in front of you it will be easier to remember to take it with you when you exit the vehicle. Pull the usb cable put a finger behind the bottom center and push a button and the jaws open release the phone. To mount it you set it there and pinch the jaws closed on it. One hand operation going both ways.

If you leave the phone down in the cubbie, the GPS does not work well. with it up on the dash, DW can push one icon on the screen to route her home or any other trip I put as a route on the home page, and she is off and running when she plugs in the cable. I know how to show the digital speedo, however it is you can have THIS or This or This, NOT you can have This and This and This. I will have to work on turn by turn pictures in the instrument panel. I assume it is in one the right side display. Clue or two would be accepted. They wasted way to much real estate on the analog speedo. Put an analog tact on the left side and analog speedo on right side and a nice single larger integrated digital display in the center, just like my RAM. On the Sync display always have a row of buttons along the bottom to switch between major functions.
