  1. I just had 35% ceramic tint put on the two front door windows and am thinking about 50% on the windshield. AZ is going to be hot this summer and we may be staying all summer this year. Has anyone done their windshield and is so did it help of the dash reflection up onto the windshield?
  2. So Ford is into April Fools jokes also, like VWs name change!
  3. The dealer in Apache Junction, Az up until a week or two ago had a 2020 with 400A and 360 option for 35K and change, which was a great deal in my book. We got a 2020 dealer service loaner last summer with 1500 miles on it for 34K and change, however it did not have the 360 option(Nav, adaptive cruise and other things).
  4. We have a 2020 Edge ST and have sold our pickup and commuter travel trailer that we used for the last two and a half years for the annual migration to Arizona in the fall and back to Washington for the summer. This winter we bought a Can Am Spyder RT-L three wheel motor cycle. I am thinking about buying an aluminum 6'x 12' footer utility trailer to be able to take the Spyder back and forth behind the Edge. The trike requires 10' length of floor space and I would put a diamond plate storage box ahead of the trike in the front of the trailer and one of the angle sided boxes on the tongue A frame for addition storage. So we would spread the load of things that might other wise be in the SUV for the migration between the SUV and trailer. So trike 1000 lbs + Trailer with boxes 650 lbs and stuff in the boxes I would be around 2000 +/-, which is well within the ST's 3500 lb tow rating and below the 30 sq ft frontal rating. My question is has anyone towed a similar load weight and frontal area wise, and how did/does the Edge handle it, plus impact on fuel mileage? Thanks Chris
  5. Car was stored from September until a 10 days ago. On edit: I am really happy with the Autostop eliminator! Do not have to even think about the stupid feature anymore.
  6. Got the Autostop eliminator today. Took about three minutes to install it on the switch.
  7. Got the mail forwarded from up North and this February 2021 recall was included in the mail. They are going to replace the rear view cameras.
  8. There is also a max 30 sq ft frontal rating, that most travel trailers will exceed. Towing a 3500 lb low utility or boat is a lot different than a travel trailer. Get a tent trailer or pop up trailer.
  9. 2021 Experience in Park City is open for registration I just booked June 1st. Chris
  10. What color is it. In June we bought a 2020 Dealer loaner(1500 miles on it) with 400A packaged Performance Blue ST. We do not like sun roofs!! Wish it would have had the C0-Pilot 360, but for 10K off sticker it was hard to turn down. Love driving it in the twisties. Wanted to buy a second one for our winter place in Arizona, however did not have a place to park it. So got this instead.
  11. I had a 1967 SS/RS 350 Camaro and according to the spec's our 2020 ST would run away and hide from the Camaro, in the 0-60, 1/4 mile and twisties, with a motor less than half the size.
  12. So I want to buy a second Edge ST for our snowbird time in Arizona, however we have no place to park it. SO! We bought this new to us 2018 Can Am Spyder RT Limited Chrome addition. Finished a two day Trike training class today. It fits in the car port along with our 2015 RAM 3500 SRW SB
  13. No thanks, if I wanted an etch a sketch I would buy a $9.99 one.
  14. Has anyone figured out if 0-60 and 1/4 mile times improved with the June 2nd tranny TSB? If the tranny is shifting better, maybe it will match or beat the Sport now, given the higher HP rating. C n D are you listening?
  15. Love our ST. Would like to have a second one for winter home in Arizona.
  16. Our summer park has a 5 MPH speed limit and it is ten minutes to the gate. 360 Acers and 22 miles of roads inside the park with 1485 sites. SO, I put the Edge ST in Sport and paddle lock it in 1st gear, instead of riding the breaks all the way to the gate or to the site coming back home. With my 2015 RAM 3500, there are less steps to lock it in 1st, and I do it with the truck also. The Edge brakes will never last as long as the trucks, as I run with the exhaust brake on all the time and that really cuts down on service brake use. Let up on the Edge and it just continues to roll on without slowing much. Just don't follow the truck to closely as the brake lights seldom come on.
  17. Then you would not think a cop was behind or coming towards you on the highway.
  18. We drove an used 2015 Sport and several other used and new SUVs and there was no turning back, we bought a 2020 ST.
  19. C/D TEST RESULTS FOR ST Zero to 60 mph: 5.7 sec Zero to 100 mph: 14.9 sec Zero to 130 mph: 30.2 sec Rolling start, 5–60 mph: 6.2 sec Top gear, 30–50 mph: 2.9 sec Top gear, 50–70 mph: 3.9 sec Standing ¼-mile: 14.3 sec @ 98 mph Top speed (governor limited): 133 mph Braking, 70–0 mph: 161 ft Roadholding, 300-ft-dia skidpad: 0.89 g
  20. Ford seems challenged to even have things like seat, mirrors, HVAC, radio, etc tied to which FOB was used to open the door, much less improve the drivers dash and center stack.
  21. Spends less time shifting gears! Or the Sport they compared to was broken in better!
