Had same issue.......went to start car and it was completely dead. Had the green eye. Ford replaced the battery and said it was defective.

Motorcraft is a synthetic blend, not a full synthetic like royal purple. Save yourself some money and go with Mobil 1 5w-20 or 0w-20. It is $23.00 for a 5 quart jug at Wally World. If you prefer the best synthetic oil, amsoil has you covered.

It is a safety feature ang. BTW, I too am confused on why you say that the autolock is a "BIG PAIN IN THE ASS" You don't have to do anything and the car locks itself. How is this any different if it locks when placed in drive. Bottom line, the doors lock themselves requiring no input from the driver. I too think Akirby is a "DIPSHIT", but he does have some valid information and helps people with issues when they arise.

I would start it once a week and drive forward and back just a little bit to keep the tires from flat spotting since it will be cold. Or you could just do nothing and it will be fine.

Ghost flames look bad ass ! I think that would be the pinnacle of your modding. The Edge has some great lines for flowing flames.

It's not necessarily the windshield itself, rather the frame around it. I am not sure if this is the culprit as I would have to hear the sound in person. It will usually get worse the colder it gets. This should not be happening as this may mean a structural defect in the frame of the car, possibly a missed weld or loose bolt somewhere. Take Drucks advice and take it to another dealer. This seems to be an isolated issue, and do not take "those noises are normal" for an answer. Also, I would call the Ford hotline and report the dealership where you were told that you have to spend $100,000.00 to have a car that makes no unusual noises........Ford will contact this dealer and reprecussions will ensue.

It's the windshield flexing when cold. Mine does not do it, but I have heard it in other vehicles. Some flex more than others.

Gee, I dont know, maybe people would like to see the contents of their glove box and not light up the whole interior of the car, which makes it more difficult to see from the drivers perspective and is distracting to other drivers as well. I would also like a light in the glove box and am planning on doing the mod....Thanks Lex!

Did you ask why you will never have to wax it ? I know this is B.S. but an explanation from the dealer is in order.

We have been having the issue of the easy exit/entry featuring working on and off since we bought the Edge. Sometimes it would not move forward when placing key in ignition and sometimes not move back when removing key. Everytime we had it in for service, techs were "unable to duplicate issue" Had it in for 22,500 multi-point and the seat was acting up. They replaced the drivers seat module and/or the control unit. Part # 8G1Z*14C708*B Time will tell if the fix is permanent. I was happier than a pig in shit that something was actually done by the dealer to repair the issue, as this has been a problem since the car was new. I know many people have reported this issue with no luck at the dealer for a repair. Keeping fingers crossed that this will solve the issue once and for all.
