What exactly was done to address this issue. I have an '08 and the dash is the same as the '07's.

My passenger side fog light bezel has some bubbling on the plastic chrome. I know this will eventually chip and look horrible......anyone else with this issue and resolutions?

The glare on the windshield is ridiculous. It covers the entire windshield. I have polarized Oaks and they help a little, but it is still very annoying and unsafe.

There is no drain plug for the trans. You must remove all the bolts holding the trans pan in place. It is a very messy and stinky job. Be careful and do not get any trans fluid on painted surfaces......it will take the paint right off.

Why did you have the trans comp. re-flashed?

autopartswarehouse lists 10.9" 10.92" 11.42" diameter sizes. 320mm means 12.5 " which is considered large for rotor size. I have 13" rotors on my Mustang and they dwarf the edges rotors.

I use total fuel system cleaner from STP every oil change. I do this as well with my 2001 Mustang since new........I recently tore down the engine to forge the internals @ 50,000 miles, and the heads looked like they were just taken off the shelf. IMO, this is a critical piece of preventitive maintenance on any vehicle.

Thanks for the reply. They actually list 3 different sizes of rotors. I will definitely look into Redstuff. I just need to know the stock rotor diameter of an 2008 AWD limited.

Why does www.autopartswarehouse.com have 3 separate rotors made by EBC that are 3 different sizes ? The rotor would have to be replaced with the same size that came off the car........if not, you would have to redo the caliper brackets as well as other modifications. Am I missing something here or are they wrong. All 3 rotors state they will fit SE, SEL, Limited edge models. I would like to order these rotors along with EBC greenstuff pads. Does the AWD models really have larger rotors than the FWD models ?

They would have to sand the entire quarter panel down, prime it, sand it, shoot it with color, shoot it with clear. Blending should not be an issue since the whole quarter panel is being redone, and the rest of the paint on the car has not had enough time to oxidize and change color. Clear coating is one of the most important steps........Some shops spray 6 coats of clear and wet sand about 3 coats off to rid the surface of "orange peel". The paint on my Edge is okay, but there is quite a few pieces of dirt under the clear coat. That sucks man, I hope it all gets sorted out for you.

I do not have a problem with the brightness rather the distance of the light output. I can't even see turns ahead before I am in them. I had the level checked and all checks out. It seems other cars have a good 20+ feet of lighted distance.

I like the bumper grille and the little grille above that. Of course they don't sell these two as a kit . I think the look of the stock main grille and the 2 billet lower grilles would look sweet. The main grille IMO, needs the Ford emblem in the center. A Black ford oval would look killer on your ride.

I was simply stating that we had a similiar issue. Foot on brake and idle would fluctuate. I was just offering a possible solution, since the dealer replaced a clean air filter hoping the problem would dissipate into thin air. I don't have to fix it, thats why I bought a new car with a warranty, so some other "moron" can fix it.

I have the catalog and access to the ford database. With this database, a moron can repair anything on cars.......very detailed instructions and idiot pictures with every step. I just cannot find where any model other than the sport, has "sport tuned" suspension.

Excuse me for posting a good deal so people can save money on an item that needs replacing every year. I was not aware the free shipping was temporary........I bought 2 of these filters a year ago for $3.30 a piece through amazon but now they are not listed and they do not know when or if they will be selling these filters again. Sounds like a camshaft position sensor issue. My idle would jump up and down stopped with foot on brake. I believe this went on for a week or so before the check engine light came on. Camshaft position sensor is a known issue with these cars.

Thicker sway bars and "sport tuned shocks and springs" I have the Ford parts catalog. All spring rates are the same. This is a bullsh*t package. The sport model handles good because of the massive 22's !

Stiffer springs/ different shocks what parts are different ? I have not been able to locate different parts for the "sport tuned suspension" when looking for stock replacements. All suspension replacement parts have no listing for "sport tuned" vs. non sport tuned. They all fall under 2007-2009 Edge. The Edge sport has the "sport tuned suspension" but this is not available on any other model.
