  1. You or someone else would have to use FDRS to upgrade the PCM software. I don’t think dealerships from other reigns can complete recalls.
  2. Welcome to the forum @2nd Time Owner! The reason why Ford removed the rear door keyless entry is due to cost cutting and the COVID chip shortage.
  3. I looked in the live data, and I could only find oil life %. It looks like there isn't a way to tell, but you can estimate 0% oil life to be somewhere around 5,000 to 10,000 miles based on driving conditions.
  4. Adaptive steering doesn't seem to be available on the 2019-2024 Edge. What happened?
  5. The Chinese Edge has its IPMB located under the driver's seat area.
  6. I don’t think there is a way, but if there is one, then it would most likely be in the live data section. My oil life is at 14% and it has been 6,599 miles since the last oil change. As @1004ron said, it’s probably best to wait until about 50% oil life.
  7. FORScan may not show the VDM because it is not expecting to see it for your vehicle. However, if you had a Nautilus profile, it might show up.
  8. Yes. Go to https://www.motorcraftservice.com/AsBuilt/. Enter the VIN number and complete the security check. Use AsBuilt Explorer by Compulsive Code to compare. 2019 Nautilus: 2LMPJ6J93KBL35167 Black Label: 2LMPJ9JP7KBL47905
  9. Did you get it to show up? FORScan only shows the modules that are physically present and that it has the information for by vehicle model and profile.
  10. Yes, Ford put active park assist and the front sensors into one package, but they can be separated. My vehicle had markings for all of the parking sensors. Search online for photos of your bumpers to see if they have the marks. Do you already have rear sensors?
  11. Welcome to the forum @mlncn_4! 1. It will be a very similar process. The parking sensor part numbers should be different than 2019-2024. 2. Your only options are: A. 4 rear sensors, B. 4 rear + 4 front sensors, or C. 4 rear, 4 front, and 4 autopark sensors. If parking sensors are missing or have problems, then the entire park aid will get disabled. 3. I haven't installed the front camera yet. It will be installed later. I had to return the camera I got and ordered a new one. 4. The interior of the bumper has rectangular marks with a circle inside them (Thanks Ford). That is where the factory parking sensor retainers get plastic welded to. I was able to glue on all 8 with one tube of J-B Weld plastic glue. It doesn't look like Ford produces parking sensor retainers as a part. Salvaged ones online were too expensive, so I went with aftermarket ones that worked well. Make sure that the parking sensors will point in the correct direction. If you look closely, you can see the markings in the lower front bumper cover.
  12. Welcome to the forum @rgsheehan! Interesting data collection. It looks like you can save the data as a CSV file. https://www.ford-trucks.com/forums/attachment.php?attachmentid=269143&d=1600129597
  13. It is an advanced notice. The remedy is not officially available yet. This post will be updated when the Full Dealer Bulletin is released: https://www.fordedgeforum.com/topic/34007-safety-recall-25s49-2021-2024-edge-2021-2023-nautilus-other-modelsmodel-year-vehicles-rear-camera-screen-software-update/ https://static.nhtsa.gov/odi/rcl/2025/RCLRPT-25V315-2916.pdf The Ford process is capable of determining which software part numbers have been installed in production and service. Affected vehicles are equipped with SYNC 4 software versions between 1.7 and 1.9. These vehicles are not produced in VIN order. Information as to the applicability of this action to specific vehicles can best be obtained by either calling Ford’s toll-free line (1-866-436-7332) or by contacting a local Ford or Lincoln dealer who can obtain specific information regarding the vehicles from the Ford On-line Automotive Service Information System (OASIS) database. 157,506 Edge vehicles are affected.
  14. A similar problem happened to a 2007 MKX. The problem was that over time, water gets into the mirror control knob in the door when it’s raining and you open the car door. When I removed the switch and jumped it with wires, the mirrors worked, so I knew that I had a bad switch.
  15. I got the long range sensor, and placed it on the passenger side. Comparing it to the standard parking sensor, it is a little bit thicker. However, the plug on it has a slightly different key than the other sensors. I first tested it by temporarily taping it to the car. With this correct sensor, active park assist is working perfectly! In order to plug in the sensor, I had to remove the plastic key so that it would fit.
  16. Not really, they are difficult and expensive.
  17. The HCM is connected to C2129. The HCM is located behind/around the glove box, but I think you need to look directly up above to find the HCM. C2129: Pin 7 Grey-Blue = Can Low, Pin 19 Green-Orange = Can High. Headlamp Control Module (HCM) - Connector C2129 Pinout - 2021 Edge.pdf
  18. The VDM is on the HS-2 Network with: ABS, GSM, HCM, IPMA, IPMB, OCS, PSCM, RCM, SCCM I am thinking that some of the easier locations to access may be the GWM or HCM.
  19. Welcome to the forum @Ron Ron! The lights were powered by connecting to different power sources around such as the door modules and rear windows. The lights use very little electricity. A standard USB port will not work because it only provides 5 volts, while the light modules need 12v. The cup holders are more intricate, connecting to the body control module and being controlled by the touch screen.
  20. Right on, @johnmarkp! The Edge mirrors attach differently. Here are the Edge CN mirrors:
