  1. Yes, Ford put active park assist and the front sensors into one package, but they can be separated. My vehicle had markings for all of the parking sensors. Search online for photos of your bumpers to see if they have the marks. Do you already have rear sensors?
  2. Welcome to the forum @mlncn_4! 1. It will be a very similar process. The parking sensor part numbers should be different than 2019-2024. 2. Your only options are: A. 4 rear sensors, B. 4 rear + 4 front sensors, or C. 4 rear, 4 front, and 4 autopark sensors. If parking sensors are missing or have problems, then the entire park aid will get disabled. 3. I haven't installed the front camera yet. It will be installed later. I had to return the camera I got and ordered a new one. 4. The interior of the bumper has rectangular marks with a circle inside them (Thanks Ford). That is where the factory parking sensor retainers get plastic welded to. I was able to glue on all 8 with one tube of J-B Weld plastic glue. It doesn't look like Ford produces parking sensor retainers as a part. Salvaged ones online were too expensive, so I went with aftermarket ones that worked well. Make sure that the parking sensors will point in the correct direction. If you look closely, you can see the markings in the lower front bumper cover.
  3. Welcome to the forum @rgsheehan! Interesting data collection. It looks like you can save the data as a CSV file. https://www.ford-trucks.com/forums/attachment.php?attachmentid=269143&d=1600129597
  4. It is an advanced notice. The remedy is not officially available yet. This post will be updated when the Full Dealer Bulletin is released: https://www.fordedgeforum.com/topic/34007-safety-recall-25s49-2021-2024-edge-2021-2023-nautilus-other-modelsmodel-year-vehicles-rear-camera-screen-software-update/ https://static.nhtsa.gov/odi/rcl/2025/RCLRPT-25V315-2916.pdf The Ford process is capable of determining which software part numbers have been installed in production and service. Affected vehicles are equipped with SYNC 4 software versions between 1.7 and 1.9. These vehicles are not produced in VIN order. Information as to the applicability of this action to specific vehicles can best be obtained by either calling Ford’s toll-free line (1-866-436-7332) or by contacting a local Ford or Lincoln dealer who can obtain specific information regarding the vehicles from the Ford On-line Automotive Service Information System (OASIS) database. 157,506 Edge vehicles are affected.
  5. A similar problem happened to a 2007 MKX. The problem was that over time, water gets into the mirror control knob in the door when it’s raining and you open the car door. When I removed the switch and jumped it with wires, the mirrors worked, so I knew that I had a bad switch.
  6. I got the long range sensor, and placed it on the passenger side. Comparing it to the standard parking sensor, it is a little bit thicker. However, the plug on it has a slightly different key than the other sensors. I first tested it by temporarily taping it to the car. With this correct sensor, active park assist is working perfectly! In order to plug in the sensor, I had to remove the plastic key so that it would fit.
  7. Not really, they are difficult and expensive.
  8. The HCM is connected to C2129. The HCM is located behind/around the glove box, but I think you need to look directly up above to find the HCM. C2129: Pin 7 Grey-Blue = Can Low, Pin 19 Green-Orange = Can High. Headlamp Control Module (HCM) - Connector C2129 Pinout - 2021 Edge.pdf
  9. The VDM is on the HS-2 Network with: ABS, GSM, HCM, IPMA, IPMB, OCS, PSCM, RCM, SCCM I am thinking that some of the easier locations to access may be the GWM or HCM.
  10. Welcome to the forum @Ron Ron! The lights were powered by connecting to different power sources around such as the door modules and rear windows. The lights use very little electricity. A standard USB port will not work because it only provides 5 volts, while the light modules need 12v. The cup holders are more intricate, connecting to the body control module and being controlled by the touch screen.
  11. Right on, @johnmarkp! The Edge mirrors attach differently. Here are the Edge CN mirrors:
  12. The challenging part will be finding side mirror cameras. We can use the mirrors from the Ford Edge CN, but they are expensive and difficult to get.
  13. Do you ever get any "system off to save power" messages? Are you running on the latest version of SYNC 4?
  14. I got a front camera, however there is a problem with the LIN communication. The front camera will show static guidelines if the LIN connection is removed. I don't have a front split view. I may have to order a different front camera.
  15. A little bit of information on the Fusion ACM, mostly older ones: http://2gfusions.net/showthread.php?tid=3704 I see that ls7t-19c107-xc is from 2019-2020 Fusion. Edge:
  16. That is for the newer vehicles, such as 2021+ F-150, 2022+ Expedition, 2020+ Explorer, 2024+ Escape. Older vehicles will require the calibration mats, such as 2015-2020 F-150, 2016-2018 MKX, 2018-2021 Expedition.
  17. @Haz Can you post the Vehicle Dynamic Suspension - System Operation and Component Description of the 2017+ Ford Fusion SPORT?
  18. To estimate the average parts cost for OEM adaptive suspension: 4x Ride Height Sensors - $120 OBO *The front height sensor LH is already equipped on vehicles with curve adaptive headlamps. Vehicle Dynamics Module - $40 Adaptive struts + shocks - $500-1,000? Miscellaneous, nuts, bolts and wiring - $150? Am I missing any other main parts that could be needed? AsBuilt Changes Needed: IPC, ABS?,
  19. I am thinking that I should order a Ford Explorer front camera mount to install a front camera just below the Ford logo without having to get a new front bumper. The goal is to mount the camera as close as possible to the Edge that already have the front camera. FB5Z19H421AA FB5Z19H421A
  20. Does anyone know the size of the calibration mat?
  21. As @Haz also mentioned above, you can use the steering wheel switch to adjust the climate control in the instrument panel cluster.
