I can't find anything positive to say about that Edge.

Issues may arise in any situation. Be patient and I'm sure you'll receive your car in a reasonable amount of time. I doubt you're the only person sending a letter to Ford. If you're really unhappy about the whole situation just cancel your order and ask for a refund of your down payment.

Not sure if this was available on the earlier models but on the 2010 there is ambient lighting feature. With the click of a button in the center console you are able to change the interior lighting color to one of seven choices. Here is the description from Ford's site. "Available ambient lighting lets you change your mood at whim. LEDs light up the front and rear footwells, front storage areas and front cupholders. Seven colors to choose from: red, yellow, green, blue, purple, white or aqua. Standard on Limited and SPORT. Available on SEL."

I wonder if the sill light color will change along with the interiors ambient lighting selection?

What I meant is they are installed at the dealership not at the factory when you order them as an option. I would opt to do them myself if this was something I didn't already ordered. Epoxy would work well to put the old sills back also. Not really a big deal because I don't see why you would go back? Maybe to resell them illuminated ones at a later time. Anyway, good luck with the install. Should be a quick one.

These are an option on the 2010 Edge. I believe they are to be dealer installed before the car is sold.

Just got my VIN today and it is going to be shipped Nov 23rd.

What is the correct bore size of the MKX/EDGE? I'm finding it to be 70.5... is this correct? ...and where did you get the rings made? ...are they plastic or aluminum?

Then it wouldn't be FREE now would it?

Should fit without an issue. Only thing is it might look like a monster truck after you install the wheels. Might want to get some springs too.

Not a fan of adding stickers to my vehicles. Otherwise nice looking Edge. IMO smoked bug deflector > chrome

Update: My Edge is scheduled to be delivered the week of Thanksgiving. :hyper:

My guess is there is a water mark left behind from the receding fluid.

I believe when I looked under the sport it was not a bolt on tip.

Yup, id guess faulty filter. Only other guess I have would be it was cross threaded when installed and it didnt seat properly. If it came off OK then that's obviously not the problem.

Here you go. I'm not a fan of the wheels at all but if you like them that's all that matters.

Agreed! I've used both products for over 10 yrs on multiple cars and they keep my interiors looking new.

I post pics after I purchase them. I won't be buying them until after I take delivery of my Edge and won't be mounting them till next spring.

Get yourself a good set of dedicated winter tires and you won't believe the performance difference. No all-season tire will compare to the traction you will get from a winter tire. I ran Dunlop Wintersport 3D's on my s4 and I never had an issue.
