Huh? Ebony Black?

I realized this morning, after exactly 11 months and 6,400 kilometres that my Edge is not Tuxedo Black as I had (I guess) assumed. The window sticker says Ebony Black.

I don't drive my Edge much, let alone wash it, and I figured the permanent film of dust had obstructed the metallic from showing through.

What I don't understand is why the brochure for the 2011s doesn't even show a non-metallic black as being available. Did it have something to do with the disaster in Japan?

Yes. Ebony black was substituted for a short time.
