Partially Debadged... and other things I did today.

What did you use and how did you debadge it? It looks like whatever you used left a stain. Did that come off easily? I want to fully debadge mine. Any tips would be helpful.

 

A good wash probably cleaned that. I've used rubbing alcohol and/or Goo Gone sparingly in the past, then washed and waxed. No evidence that emblems were there.

I had luck with this by heating my emblems using a heat gun, then I used fishing line to cut through the glue that holds them on. I imagine one would want to go easy on the heat, just enough to make the emblems move with pressure. I used a little 3M adhesive remover on a few of the stubborn spots and then headed to the car wash. Even close up you cannot tell that there were ever badges there.
