carsick30
When listening to radio, but not CD or iPod for some reason, seem to be periodically hearing what sounds like one of the back speakers being blown. Anyone else having this problem?
FordService
Hey carsick30, Have you been to the dealer for this concern? I'd like to look into available options on my end; please send me a PM with your full name, best daytime phone number, VIN, mileage, and preferred servicing dealership. We'll go from there. CinnamonEdge
I have the same issue but with a front door speaker! The funny thing is that it acts up more when it is cold outside. I'm thinking there is a bad electrical connection somewhere. I've seen issues where cold can effect electronics with bad connections because it makes metal contract and then as it warms up the connection gets better as the metal expands. I guess I'll have to take it to the dealer. I just hope its a speaker because there are so many harness connections it could be anywhere. Do you also have the SONY system? carsick30
Makes sense, but the mystery to me is the fact that I'm only getting this occasional distortion when listening to radio, not USB/CD. And no, it's not radio station static because it happens on every channel. It;s also not antenna reception because the static would then come from all sides, but this one seems to be more in the back.
Tacyon
Can't explain it even with what I know ... but I can tell you that I experienced the same symptoms right down to, pandora via cell phone over BT was fine. USB, Radio and Sirius was not.
