2013 SE daytime running lights-front

Recommended Posts

I am looking to install OEM daytime running lights on my edge. The part comes with a two wire pig tail. Is this a DIY install? What additional parts needed to install this item? Does the dealer need to activate this? Are the DRL on even when the headlights are on? Please offer any assistance. Thank you!

Go over to the Glass, Lenses, Lighting, Mirrors, & Wipers topic on the forum ( http://www.fordedgeforum.com/forum/47-glass-lenses-lighting-mirrors-wipers/)

Plenty of discussion about the DRL's including one with 17 pages. I believe most of the discussion is about the aftermarket product which I just installed myself. I don't recall much discussion about adding factory DRL's other than owner's have been able to have the dealer turn theirs on with a visit to the service department.

You can also use the search feature of the forum and find more results.

These are not DRLs and if u connect OEM lights, no need of activation is needed,

I have already put it on my SE, these are also not visible in day time. if u need DRL in place u need some aftermarket lights wih LEDs.
