Tjames557
Hi guys, Recently bought my 13' Edge with 18k miles on it. Love this thing! When i bought it, I pointed out a couple small ( less than 1 inch) scratches that appeared to have been "fixed" before the car was on the lot. and by fixed I mean it looks like they put touch up paint on them. You cant really tell they are there, until you get up close. I have OCD when it comes to this stuff but i figured since it was a killer price i could live with them for now. My questions is, short of taking it to the body shop and having them repaint and blend half the car, is there any successful methods/ products you guys have used to remedy scratches? They really arent THAT bad, my OCD just kicks in a bit when im washing it and I see where they touched it up. Thanks!
macbwt
No idea on this for ya. I am sure some auto body shop has a fix for it, but the cost may be an issue. But in the kidding side of the house, just park it in a walmart parking lot up front then the two scratches would not matter.

Good point... ill just leave it running with the doors unlocked! im sure the problem will work itself out then haha
enigma-2
Have you tried going over the area of the scratch with a fine rubbing compound?

akirby
Paintscratch.com has some good kits if you want to fix it yourself. You'll probably need to sand off the previous repair and start fresh.
