I have been Edge shopping and finally found one that meets my requirements, a 2013 Ford Edge Sport. I am going today or very soon to have a look at it, and before I make any final decisions I wanted to know if this particular year and trim level have any reoccurring issues? For example, I have a 99 Mercury Mountaineer and nearly everyone has issues with the rear wiper arm or the MAF failing. Thanks in advance! Ive upgraded the lights......installed both the headlights and drl's frim daytimebrightlites.com and OMG what a difference in the headlights!! Also installed a K&N intake system but that was a total waste of both time and money...I noticed only negligable gain in power but have noticed when I really accelerate the intake is very loud sucking in air.....if I did it again Id just get the K&N filter that replaces the factory filter. I have a short list of things I want to have done, first is the front windows tinted to match the factory tint. When I was looking at Edges you can see the calipers clear as day with the monster rims on it. Not sure what color though. It's the white edge and I've never been one for colors. sman83 Posted August 7, 2015 Author Report Share Posted August 7, 2015 I ended up buying the 2013 Sport last night. I like it. A problem with the ac/heat which the stealership is going to look at.
