Yoli Aguilera
Hello my fellow Ford Edge owners! My touch screen went pitch black about a month ago. No radio, no A/C. We changed out a few fuses, and it all came back on. About a week ago it went black again. Any ideas on how to fix this issue myself without having to go to my local Ford dealer? omar302
Unfortunately if it is a repeating issue, probably the APIM needs replacement. The good news, is that it has a 5 year unlimited mileage warranty, so it should be done free of cost on you.

Hi Yoli Aguilera, I agree with omar302 and macbwt. A visit to the dealership is needed. Let me know how it goes. Hi luckychance, The warranty covers the SYNC module for a total of five years. If replacement of the module is required, and your vehicle is within the indicated time limitations, the dealers are authorized to replace it free of charge (parts and labor). Is your screen still inoperative? Shaay
